“Enrolling my son in this Kindy was the best decision I’ve made for him. We moved from another centre (after visiting a few before that) and from the moment we walked in to Selwyn St Kindy we were made to feel so welcome; all staff immediately engaged with me, my son and my younger daughter too. Communication has been excellent, both in person and through the online platform, we always know what’s happening day to day. The kindy has a great large outdoor space and a beautiful and engaging indoor space. The teachers go above and beyond, embracing the strengths of families and celebrating the diverse community. What I love most is the genuine love and energy for the children, they truly put kids first and always take the time to comfort and listen to the children and their needs. They do it all, so many wonderful opportunities for the kids, they seek out interesting learning opportunities They sing with the kids, bake, use lots of te reo, actively teach about managing emotions, I really cannot fault them. It’s the kindy I wish all kids could have!”

“I recently moved from India to New Zealand two months ago. My baby started to go kindy & he’s really praised all the teacher. He’s so happy & comfortable with you. Even I can see lots of change on him. I seen every story you shared with us. I’m so happy & surprised that he’s doing so good. “I want to thank the person who manages and cleans the Play Arcade at West City. We accidentally left our bag with our wallets and important valuables. When we realized and went back to search, he returned everything to us, safe and untouched. We tried to offer him a reward, but he kindly refused, showing incredible honesty and kindness. Unfortunately, we forgot to ask his name, but he’s a young man with curly hair. To whoever manages him, you have an amazing employee! “I've seen some bad reviews recently so thought I'd add a positive one based on my experience yesterday. I am postpartum so struggling to find clothes I fit that are affordable. Finally after looking for what I wanted at other shops where the clothes didn't fit me AND were very expensive, I went to the warehouse and found what I was looking for, and they were cheap too. I asked a long haired blondish woman who was absolutely lovely, about sizing, because I was carrying my baby it was hard to try things on. She was very accurate and my clothes fit perfectly. Thank you!”

“Staff members are friendly, courteous, very helpful and attentive. The shop is quite huge and stock plenty of appliances and other items that will tickle you fancy. The quality is not too bad, though prices are now getting much expensive that a few years ago. Some items are priced competitively while for some other items, the price is still too high for its quality. Have plenty of parking spaces at the front, and at the side of the shop.”

“Came in a while ago and was having trouble with an item I couldn't find. Went to the counter and David was an absolute legend. Located the item in another Warehouse within seconds and went the extra mile to help out. Now everytime I'm having trouble I look for David as he's super on point everytime!”
