   As a social worker, I have had the privilege of working alongside Brooke MacClure at Our Kids Early Learning Centre. I want to acknowledge the incredible kindness, care, and dedication they show not only to the tamariki but also to the whānau I work with. They have gone above and beyond to ensure whānau are supported with their essential needs, generously providing items for those experiencing financial hardship. The level of aroha and commitment they bring to their role is truly inspiring, and it makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our community. I am very grateful for the mahi they have done for me and continue to do.

   When talking about caring for the holistic wellbeing of your child, Our Kids Mataki Way is the place for you. My son went there for 3 years, from the age of 2 till 5, and I highly recommend this early learning centre for your children. They’re my son’s second family as he loved everything about Mataki Way.

   Our Kids Mataki Way has been the most amazing centre for our son!!!! Choosing the right daycare is such an important decision and we are so happy we found it! All of the staff and teachers have been incredible and you can see they really care about what they do. The friendships the build with the kids is really beautiful to see. Every morning at drop off the teachers are upbeat and positive and it sets a really great atmosphere. Likewise in the afternoon at pickup time, the teachers are happy to share how my sons day has been. They also keep me informed with his progress by either communicating in his book that comes home each day or posting on StoryPark. I have seen my sons personality develop and grow more confident interacting with other kids. We are so so sad to be leaving the area and changing daycare. I would highly recommend this centre to anyone! I viewed all of the centres in the area and Our Kids Mataki Way was by far the best centre!

   Our Kids Mataki Way has been awesome and if we weren't moving to Christchurch we would never move. Our daughter loves the centre and all the teachers. Communication is great and our daughter is always well looked after. It's been so amazing watching her grow and develop friendships with both the other kids and teachers. She loves the food and I always know that she's got a full tummy and is happy.

   Our whanau are really loving our time at Mataki Way. I feel that the teachers have always listened to and respected our parenting style, and they have a gentle, child-led approach in looking after our daughter. They are highly communicative, which made my transition back into work so much easier. Our daughter always has a huge smile on her face when we arrive, and all the children in her class seem equally settled, calm and happy. We feel so lucky we found Mataki Way and would absolutely recommend this centre.
