“I am grateful that both of my children growing up in Little Kiwis. My daughter started at 15 months and my son started at 11 months. I feel happy to see them waving to me and saying "goodbye mummy". Because I know that their needs and their feelings will be seen and be good taken care of by the teachers. Also, my daughter successfully passed 2interviews of private primary schools this year, and she was praised by the school principal. They think she's well educated and well trained. I want to thank every teacher at Little Kiwis for their dedication, and I thank God's love in there .”

“This is my daughter’s second daycare, and she started here at 2 years old. To my surprise, she loves Honey Bees from the very first day. we don’t even need a transition period! While I was a worried mum calling many times on her first day, she was super happy, settled quickly, and has made so many friends. She absolutely adores her teachers, especially Juliana, Marisa, and Nicolette. At home, she even copies Juliana and explains things to me just like her teachers do. Every morning she is welcomed with cuddles, smiles, and praise, which makes her so excited to go in. Since starting, she has also begun talking a lot more, which is amazing to see. All the teachers (Karen, Alana) are wonderful, caring, and always quick to reply to any emails or questions. My daughter truly loves Honey Bees and her teachers.”

“My daughter start Best Start Manukau from 6 months of age and now she is turning 5 soon. I love to see my daughter looking forward to go to her preschool even on weekends. All of the staff at the centre are so loving and caring. I have seen my daughter growing up and achieving her milestones. They also do fantastic home cooked food each day , I can say there is a very family oriented atmosphere . Having experienced all 3 rooms during my daughter time there I can say with assurance the teachers are very supportive and understandable that give us more confident that our child is safe and secure. would highly recommend best start Manukau to anybody who is looking for care.”

“The team and facilities at ABC Epsom are fantastic. Particularly the teachers in the under two's room are so caring and wonderful with the littlies. The atmosphere at the centre is great. Lovely big outdoor space for a relatively central centre. Highly recommend.”

“Apple Tree Preschool is a fantastic place with caring and friendly teachers who greet you warmly when you arrive and leave everyday. They provide daily verbal updates about your child at the end of the day and monthly stories that highlight their progress. The staff take sickness seriously, keeping families informed about any illnesses at the preschool and encouraging caution to keep everyone safe. They also offer hot, healthy lunches along with morning and afternoon teas every day. Overall, it’s a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment where both children and parents feel supported.”

“My son is in tui room and he had a fantastic experience with Best Start Ascot. The teachers are warm, professional, and caring. They are also flexible in terms of schedule changes and will acknowledge your concerns. The range of activities keeps the children engaged and supports both their creativity and learning. Most importantly, I feel confident knowing that my child is in a safe, nurturing environment. I highly recommend this center especially for those who are unsure whether to start their child on daycare or not.”

“A place which was second home for my daughter. She started in 2020 and a graduated in 2025... A long journey with the best teachers who not only understands the child but supports Parents as well. “Best centre in the heart of Papakura and I highly recommend this kindy. First day visit to the centre and I already 100% thankful that I step foot in this centre. All staff are friendly and family orientated. They took extra mile and went beyond measure to meet the needs of the children even though all children has different needs. I love this centre is very clean and tidy and they accommodate the children to the best of their ability and making sure that all children are safe and happy. “Our son has attended Pascals for a short 7 months since he was 1.5 years old, and we have seen him flourish at this lovely establishment. The teachers and staff are incredibly caring and have always taken the extra effort to make sure your child is well and happy. Our son has made so many friends, gained lots of confidence and new skills, and his vocabulary exploded once he settled in the Tui room. It's been amazing to see our son grow into an amazing little boy, and credit is due to the wonderful teachers and staff at Pascals.”

“Attended a wedding reception at Markovina Vineyard Estate in late autumn. Although there was a bit of drizzle, the venue was a good size and handled the weather well. The estate was beautifully maintained and professionally decorated. Catering quality depends on the hosts' budget, but in our case it was good to great. Did not include photos with people for privacy reasons, but you can get a better idea of the venue from other photos online. A lovely place for a special occasion.”

“We’ve had our 3 children in the care of Fantails Silverdale since 2018, and our experience has been nothing short of wonderful. The teachers are always so warm, caring, and dedicated to the children, which makes a huge difference in their development. It’s clear they’re genuinely passionate about creating a nurturing environment. The outdoor space is fantastic! There’s plenty of room for the kids to play and explore, and it’s a great feature of the centre. I also love that they have separate rooms for different age groups, so each child gets the attention and activities suited to their stage of development. Fantails organizes regular events that keep things fresh and exciting for the kids, from themed days to celebrations, and they always look forward to these. The extra activities they offer, like playball, swimming, and school visits, are a nice touch and give the children a variety of experiences beyond the typical classroom setting. What stands out most, however, is how the management truly listens to feedback. They are always open to suggestions and seem genuinely invested in improving the centre. It’s clear that they care about the families they serve. We couldn’t be happier with the care our kids are receiving at Fantails, and we highly recommend it to any family looking for a supportive, engaging, and professional early learning centre.”

“Loved it here. Met my nephew and a school group here on a Sunday night and it was a great exepreicne. Ice creams for the group were affordable from the mini golf place, the arcade was so much fun, and the kids had an absolute blast. I've been here many times for food, which is usually affordable and delish!”

“Hi just adding a review for Pridelands holiday programm Moses and his team are awesome, i have twins (teenagers)that go to their holiday day programms and have done for a few years now. Both boys enjoy being there. Lots of fun activities, burning off all the boredom with much to do there. My boys have ADHD and very much on the go 24/7, Pridelands have been wonderful with them. We recommend Pridelands Holiday Programm.”

“What a jewel for Upper Hutt! So many activities for kids of all ages and abilities. Great variety of safe, interesting, visual & tactile activities for those with sensory issues and easy access, smooth paths to navigate prams, strollers & wheelchairs - though watch out when near the skate ramps! For the more ambitious & rambunctious there are climbing, jumping, balancing & strength activities. Truly something for everyone”

Teachers and receptionist are always welcoming and caring! Till this day, my wife and I have to drag our baby out of kindy because he doesn't want to leave - thats reassurance that your child is being well looked after and having a blast at Best Start!”

“Impressive creation! This huge playground off Manchester Street is amazing. There are dozens of things to swing and climb up. My kids favourite is the double flying fox, because they can race each other. There are food outlets BBQs and toilets too.”

“A really wonderful independent cinema, that also have a dvd library with a huuuuge collection! Nice to browse before your film starts too. Definitely worth a visit if you are visiting Christchurch!”

“Velocity carts is a great little New Zealand company offering land sailing, in their custom designed and made “blocarts”. These carts are fast and extremely manoeuvrable. You can learn to drive a blocart well within one session, although if you have experience in other forms of sailing that is a definite advantage. The controls are simple, a steering wheel and a main sheet (rope) which controls the sail. At the beginning of your first session, the instructors will show a video detailing how to use a blocart and then explain how best to steer through the course. The staff will then be on the course to give advice on how to improve and to ensure your safety. In windy conditions sail sizes can easily be reduced or heavier wheels added to ensure greater stability. The cost of the experience in 2024 was $75NZ per hour per person.
