So easy to book online, great website. Always the most interesting but current lineup of shows, including festivals. Quirky,well-maintained, clean interior. Good coffee, wine, hot nuts(!) Etc. Amazing range of dvd's- classic and recent, well-catalogued. Good parking nearby, central city. Highly recommended.
Charming little cinema, showing some excellent films, and serving a decent cappucino. I went during the daytime when it was really quiet, but it deserves to be busy.
A really wonderful independent cinema, that also have a dvd library with a huuuuge collection! Nice to browse before your film starts too. Definitely worth a visit if you are visiting Christchurch!
Saw a film there recently. Very enjoyable experience; staff and facilities were both excellent. Inspired us to get into renting films again!
I was expecting watching a movie and such a cozy cinema, loved the experience so much I have never visited a place like this before. 100% worth the experience, you should go with friends or kids.
Sheer perfection. The themed cinemas are luxurious and add that extra glamour to the movie-going experience. And pro tip: you can hire the venue, which is great for a bunch of friends or a birthday!
Came here to watch a film after reading good reviews about this place. It definitely have a different vibe to a regular cinema. It is quite unique and the decor and everything makes the experience unforgettable. Only thing I didnt like was the carpark even though the park fee was included by the cinema as there weren't much spaces at all. However for visitors and locals, this place is worth a try.
Very small and quaint theatre.. needs aircon, needs better popcorn... could hear a pin drop cos the theatre is so small.. popcorn for $3.90 no flavour quite small, need salt and butter and not gf popcorn as well... a popcorn machine would be a good investment, otherwise good experience love the history and enjoyed the movie I went to see. Thanks
