Excellent park for kids and teenagers. Skateboarding, swings and a football field for kicking around a ball. It also has good clean public toilets . Kids and teenagers of all ages can have lots of good outdoor fun here.

What a jewel for Upper Hutt! So many activities for kids of all ages and abilities. Great variety of safe, interesting, visual & tactile activities for those with sensory issues and easy access, smooth paths to navigate prams, strollers & wheelchairs - though watch out when near the skate ramps! For the more ambitious & rambunctious there are climbing, jumping, balancing & strength activities. Truly something for everyone

I’ve spent a lot of time here with families as part of my job and I bring my son here too. It’s usually quiet during school times, predictably busy in the afternoon. The skate park is great and seems to cater to all abilities and wheels (scooters, skateboards, bikes). There’s things to climb on, swing on even make music with. There’s a smaller area with a sandpit for the little ones and it’s next to a sports field. There are benches around, water fountains for people and 4 legged companions. There’s lots of parking around both on the street and around the rec area as a sports club is on the same land. There’s a couple of bbq areas as well. As the sunsets, predictably the big kids come out to skate. I haven’t felt intimidated but I’m sure some people might. I’ve seen people working there to keep the park free of litter. It’s a really nice addition to the small town and keeps kids active and running around for ages. The flying fox as pictured below is a huge hit!

I take my granddaughter Maidstone Max being her about item park, that caters for all age groups. Separate areas for different age groups from 2 years through to teens. Toilet facilities and large green fields alongside adventure park. Plenty of free parking.

The best playground in the Wellington region. Close to brewtown and nice green spaces too! Have a day out in upper hutt.

Awesome, large scale playground for younger and older kids. Big selection of different activities Couple of things worth noting for parents • it is not fully fenced off • there aren’t heaps of seats for you to sit down and watch the kids • because it is so big, the kids can get hidden/out of sight if they go to the other side
