“Hired a car to drive to Auckland as my old whip wouldn't make it from welly. First time I've hired a car privately. Got a great rate online. The tall chap with glasses (forgive me I can not remember his name) who booked me in was absolutely amazing. He was calm and professional and gave me some great tips. He booked me back in a few days later when I returned to welly. Whatever they are paying him is not enough - solid worker, great service. Would return to Apex just based on the service from him.”

We had to call up twice to extend our car hire by a couple of hours, due to alot of roadworks on our way to the Tauranga airport from Cooks Beach. “Our MG ZS went for her annual service and WOF today. Booking online was super smooth and I had a reminder the day before. The staff at reception could not have been nicer, friendlier or more helpful. I even scored a courtesy car as I hadn't realized this service was the 80k bigger one and would take longer than usual. That in itself was huge, as it gave me time to get home (45 mins away), get some work done and then pop back later to grab my car. Absolutely no complaints from us. It has been a joy from go to whoa and back again.”

“Right at the heart of Lambton Quay is this compact supermarket that has the basic items you often require. It isn’t huge but enough to stock up your pantry or cook up a simple meal. Love their fresh bakery and there’s often a crowd during lunchtime on a weekday. The checkout is very efficient and you won’t be in line for a long time which helps during the mad rush.”

“Tesla had a terrific open house here yesterday to show off their new facility. Just about everything was open to view, coffee was offered, cars were available for hands-on exploring, they had a model Y set up for camping, cars with panels removed so that you could see the interior, a car on a lift so that you could see underneath, and perhaps best of all they had a car available for kids to finger paint! I loved it, and had the windows not been painted, it's when I would have loved to drive... So fun! And driving a Tesla *is* fun! Unfortunately it was difficult to get some pictures without people in them. They had a great turnout!”
