   The car we originally booked was too small to fit our luggage, although we only had 2 medium size luggage plus some smaller bags. They offered us another car but it was still not big enough. Lucky they had a bigger car so we upgraded to that although we had to pay extra. Many thanks to the staff for being patient with us and also guiding us how to set up some functions for CarPlay.

   Rented this car for a three week term from Queenstown to Christchurch and it was fantastic. The pickup logistics at ZQN (Queenstown) airport were smooth and quick - one could almost walk to the car rental location if needed. The car was clean and efficient, with no major issues (some slight wheel alignment needed to be done by the end of our trip). At drop-off in CHC, the staff were super friendly and efficient. The shuttle driver even helped us load the suitcases into the back and the various bags upfront as the baby had fallen asleep. Would definitively prioritize using Apex over others for any future rentals in NZD.

   The drivers who picked us up & dropped off - exceptional service. 5+ stars for both of them. But the guy who gave us the vehicle has some serious issues. This guy don't even know what customer service is not what smile is. If I'm to give rating for this guy, ZERO.

   We were on a budget and this was cheaper to hire and drive one way, Than a bus or train for three of us to Blenheim. The location for the car pickup was easy to find at the Chch airport, staff were friendly and helpful. The car was clean and tidy, even though it’s an older model, it’s easy to drive and nothing wrong with it. Drop off was just as easy to find. I had to go back to the car after I realised I left something in it. The car had already gone off for a clean and everyone was helpful in retrieving my glasses. No issue with staff either end. Sedan for three was comfortable. If your on a budget and don’t mind an older vehicle, highly recommend.

   Customer service was very poor. Arrived to pick up at Queenstown airport and I was hit with the ‘you don’t have any insurance’ when I had booked it online. What’s the point in apex allowing customers to buy the insurance with another company online if their employers do not know the customers have done so? Seems like a scam to scare customers into buying additional insurance with them. Dropped off at Christchurch airport and was again met with an aggressive unfriendly person who threatened me with a charge of $40 if I did not top up the tank despite the tank being pretty much full (see photo). So I drove around for 20 minutes without a clue where I was going just to top it up. Overall really poor customer service, I would go with a different company next time.

   Was picked up from Chc airport within 10 minutes of landing, straight to their depot where collecting our rental was seamless. Paid just under 1k for a 12-seater van for 6 days, which included a full cover insurance. Van is clean and reliable. Queenstown staff were very helpful upon returning the vehicle. Would highly recommend!

   The service, both at collection and drop off, was professional and friendly. We researched prices before we arrived and Apex was the best especially for covering daily insurance. Our counter staff member ,on arrival, and shuttle driver on departure were the best. Highly recommend!
