   We had nothing but an excellent experience with these guys. I booked a hire care on behalf of my parents who were visiting from overseas. Put in the booking and got confirmation of availability the following day - it does say when booking that it’s not confirmed until they email you. The customer service was great, friendly and efficient. Easy process and good little run around car. We did get a charge for a fine that was paid, no issue, they refunded right away when I queried and advised it had been paid. (They weren’t to know it was already paid) For the price we paid and the service we received I’m stoked and I’ll absolutely recommend the 15th ave Tauranga branch :)

   We hired a car recently with a car seat.. car was nice and tidy but the car seat did not have an isofix and was not appropriate for the car we were provided, resulting in a very nerve-wracking drive to our friends place who were able to lend us an isofix to secure the car seat properly. We reached out to Rad Hire and the staff did not apologize nor offer any kind of support or refund for the car seat hire. No attempt to fix the issue was made. Very disappointed and will not ever book with them again. We do not recommend them for young families traveling with small children.

   The car was perfect but I believe that communication needs to be improved. I struggled to get in contact via email while overseas and ended up only getting through to the Tauranga office after multiple phone calls during working hours. When I finally did get through I felt my questions were initially handled in a rude matter. In the end I was charged 1.5 days additional for returning a car 3 hours late on a Sunday. Not ideal.

   Such exceptional service from Darrell who was so kind and accommodating. We had to call up twice to extend our car hire by a couple of hours, due to alot of roadworks on our way to the Tauranga airport from Cooks Beach. Darrell was calm and told us not to worry or stress about it and his kind voice and demeanor really made us not worry on the trip back too! He also didn't charge us which was so kind so big shout out to you Darrell and many thanks again!

   I picked up a van for two hours in the evening and traveled less then 35 KMs, from Welcome Bay to Papamoa and back. They charged me $35, only for fuel, which I believe is absolutely unjustified. Never going back to them.

   Had to hire a car on short notice. It was nice and easy. I am so used to hidden charges with car rental that it was a pleasant surprise to see that there were none. Would recommend.

   Nice and easy. Alittle hard to park in the motorhome but easy to there and out. Close to main roads. Wonderful staff. The car was in great condition. Will differently go there again.

   Great service ! No fussing, quick and easy to rent a car. We rented in Oct/Nov and got a great price of $25 per day which includes "middle" car insurance. - There are 3 tiers to choose from, Zero coverage, Middle and Full. Middle coverage is included in your rate. Once tourist season sets in around mid December, rates will go up (I was quoted $50 per day including insurance). We got a really nice car. 4 door, automatic transmission, air conditioning, blue tooth, the works. Very clean, no damage, not a lot of power but ran great. The other car rental prices are bonkers. No comparison. We're from Canada so we knocked off another 13% of the price due to exchange rates. :) And if you don't normally drive on the left, I would suggest getting an automatic. Tauranga loves double roundabouts and adjusting your brain to everything left is tricky enough.

   Amazing service, so easy and simple. Picked up and dropped of from and to the airport without any issue. The team were readily available to help via email, and had no problems answering my questions and adjusting my booking. A+ service for a great price. Highly recommended!!
