   I’ve been coming here since 2010 and I always get incredible service. As a female it’s daunting finding a mechanic that will explain processes simply, do an excellent job AND not overcharge you! I was so glad I found this place locally! My cars over the years have been well looked after and I’ve brought friends here after being overcharged elsewhere - in one instance quoted $1500 to replace lights - and Kelston Tyres repaired them for under $200. Definitely recommend this hard working and respectful team!

   I really wanted to give these guys the benefit of doubt but they have behaved with dishonesty, lack of integrity and unprofessionally. They said one thing on the phone, said something else in person and did something entirely different in the end. They put the wrong sized tyre on my car, different brand of air filter to what was agreed to, deliberately damaged a fragile side mirror in order to warrant for urgent repair to allow for maximum profit for them. When I returned to have the problem rectified, instead of an apology, I was met with hostility and frustration. I later found out other members of my family have had even worse experiences and dealings with this company. I will be making a formal complaint to NZTA. Liars, cheaters, unprofessional, rude, and dodgy

   The place was recommended by one friend of mine, called one of the mechanics there, and he booked me in for 8am, at 8am no one was there, 3 mechanics arrived at 8:20am no one knew about my booking, I called the mechanic and he said he would be in at 9am or 9:30am. A completely waste of time. Mechanic messaged: this is not a groceries shop you buy milk and walk away after 10 min, this made no sense whatsoever. If he had said be there at 9:30am, at 9:25am I would be there. You guys need someone to look after your bookings, this guy I called was a mess. Lost yourself a customer.

   Replying to your below response on my original feedback. I am reviewing my original review as I feel that was an one off incident because of busy day. I did see your standards were so high in the second attempt. Thank You Thanks for taking time out to respond and appreciate your great service on second time trying to fix the issue professionally with clear details communicated correctly. Yes you were very professional on the second time again google reviews could have sparked your improvement plug. Yes, I strongly agree with you that physical view is extremely important however there are few things in your response are incorrect. I can see that you wanted to justify your end however when things did not work out right then it is best to own our error and apologise like you have done when I came in second time but unfortunately my car is still not fixed after your head gasket cover replacement recommendation (you quoted $300 plus and I bought gasket cover from Suzuki for $28 plus $60 labour). The main issue is bad O2 censor just FYI. Incorrect ones in your response are:- 1. You never showed me any sample, you just sent one of your staff to repco and bought the correct spark plug. I was kept uninformed whether you went to buy standard ones or iridium ones or plantinum ones. I did see that you were extremely busy so I thought that must have been the reason, but its all about cusomter service. 2. We never had any agreement talks at all, I am 100% sure. If that was the case I would have taken my car to my usual place where they quoted Iridium jobs for $150 incl. 3. Cleaning spark plug area free of charge comment is really invalid as you are doing a spark plug replacement job for $200 plus Once again it is not about $50 or $100. It is about keeping customer informed and servicing motors professionally at a good long running business like your place. Anyways thank you for all your efforts. Bye Mechanic response - "Thank You for your feedback. Phone Quotations are usually a verbal estimate of the parts, Physical view is important for true estimate. You were given verbal estimate for Standard spark plugs set $90.00, on physical view your car needed iridium spark plugs which are $48.00 plus GST each in Repco. They have shown you a sample before you buy to check in Repco. You agreed and they did the job with discount. They have cleaned your spark plug area of the engine free of charge"

   Quoted $160 over the phone for Plantinum spark plugs and standard ones for $90. Car needed Iridium spark which are cheaper than Plantinum ones still charged me $200, just because he did not have Iridium in stock and went next door to Repco and got it themselves. Very poor communication and dodgy way of increasing prices - such a daylight robbery. Very very disappointed and extremely poor service.
