“We wanted a clamshell opening backpack to use for carry-on luggage, Garrett talked us through the features of the pack. The price was more than we intended to pay having seen similar in a competitors store online. We then went to the competitors store intending to purchase the pack but the staff ignored us (we were the only ones in the store and it was pretty obvious we were intending to buy since we'd pulled several packs from the shelves). We went back to Garrett and bought from him - why? Cos he acknowledged us, talked freely with us to assess our needs and showed us our choices all with a smile on his face. Customer Service definitely sells!”

“Always a clean and presentable supermarket like most new worlds, however personally I've not yet come across a new world that makes pies like the supermarket. -Gourmet steak and blue vein pie 9.2/10 Very suprised this hasn't won any awards. They dont spare it on the blue vein, and steak peices are very high quality. If you love blue vein cheese, you'll love this. - Steak, bacon, and cheese pie 8.6/10 All aspects of this pie are on point. Would have been higher if it was the same.shape as the steak and blue vein. However, it's still a great pie.”

“Just a few small jobs, added extra holes with eyelets to running shoes, gluing a sole down on a pair of leather shoes and punching extra holes on a pair of sandals. 3 pairs of shoes made wearable again. Really good service, tidy work, and inexpensive, priceless if you get to wear your old favs again. Very happy customer I recommend the village cobbler, friendly guy and his lovely dog.”

“The kind of store that you go to buy one thing and leave with a bag full of stuff you think you need. Some shelves are often left untidy due to customers not returning items they no longer want and this can be annoying at times. Recommend for kid's clothing as there is a large selection of reasonably priced stock. Other redeeming feature is the opening hours, 8am to 12 midnight for those last minute purchases!”

“My niece absolutely loves her new shoes and I couldn’t have been happier with the service. Lydia served me and so helpful and this is the 2nd time so I made sure I got her name! I went in giving her a price range and explaining they were for my niece who was size 11 and I wanted them to last quite some time even though kids grow fast. She gave me lots of options to choose from and recommend I go up a size to give her grow room! This is the 2nd time the same woman has served me. Last time I was shopping for myself and wanted walking shoes. I gave her a price range then as well and she gave me plenty of options and a few different colour options in the shoe I went for too. Also, the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn and they didn’t even need to be worn in like new shoes often do. Great store with great service”
