This is a usual Kathmandu branch, nice location and spacious interiors. However the staff does not seem to know what they sell very well.
The store is large and inviting, but the staff are not helpful. Dropped in to make a return and was made to wait for nearly 30 minutes and do multiple transactions due to errors by the staff. Kathmandu is my go-to gear brand, but I have never had such a poor experience at a store before.
We wanted a clamshell opening backpack to use for carry-on luggage, Garrett talked us through the features of the pack. The price was more than we intended to pay having seen similar in a competitors store online. We then went to the competitors store intending to purchase the pack but the staff ignored us (we were the only ones in the store and it was pretty obvious we were intending to buy since we'd pulled several packs from the shelves). We went back to Garrett and bought from him - why? Cos he acknowledged us, talked freely with us to assess our needs and showed us our choices all with a smile on his face. Customer Service definitely sells!
Thank you to the two lovely ladies early tonight at about 5pm I was buying a thermal for my kid and they made the experience nice didn’t catch their names
The security guard was terrible! He throw my cup of drink (I put it far away from all the clothes) away without letting me know. When I asked him, his attitude was like none of his business, he didn’t even bother to give me a sorry.
Love Kathmandu sales, especially when you have a voucher to spend. Great that clothing is made from recycled fabric. Comfortable and warm clothing.
Great range of products. Would benefit from having more staff as often waiting in queue to be served or struggling to find anyone on the shop floor.
The guys here are just great, we ordered a sun shade, as they had sold out, and they managed to get one to us overnight. Above and beyond as usual. If you haven't been, give them a try, you won't be disappointed. M & J
The staff were friendly and helpful without pestering too much. A good range of quality products built to last, for casual wear to serious outdoor stuff. Very pricey, but can find a good deal or two during the sales.
