Not impressed with the sneaky way they got around not honouring the boxing day voucher offer, with hidden small print. Canceled a $2000 order rather than give my money to them and went to Bunnings instead, where the goods were actually cheaper than at Mitre10 if they HAD honoured the voucher offer.
Great staff, excellent service, rubbish product. I really feel sorry for the staff who know how poor the quality of the products are at this place.

As a store I love miter10. This morning my daughter and I came to purchase an item from the timber department. The lady on the counter was very rude. She did not look at us ,she didnt even say hello, she just kept looking at her screen the whole time. There were no thank yous and she was very abrupt. Not a very nice experience and one that I haven't encounted before at the Hastings store. morning ,sunday 7th September .
I arrived with my granddaughter and daughter in law we went into the Cafe I ordered one flat white ,black coffee & fluffy paid for then waited 45 mins and was ignored the whole time when asked about our coffee order was told oh wandering what you were doing. Not Impressed at all lady with very short hair was so rude never again will I return to this store
Awesome, big mitre 10 filled to the brim with all sorts. Great well set out garden centre. Lots of friendly and knowledgeable staff to help or point you in the direction of someone who can. You can always find what you're looking for. Great Cafe also with nice choice of cabinet food.
All stuff for everyone is available for repair or making new stuff.. its bit different to find things for first visit but staff is there to help you
WARNING: Mitre 10 do not stand behind the products they sell. Normally Mitre staff are fantastic, except for this time. Absolutely appalling after sales service when we tried to make a warranty claim on a faulty log fire flue. There is a gap at the back of the flue inside the house given one flue pipe has a different diameter to the next flue pipe; this has resulted in the smoke leaking out of the flue into the house. I cannot believe the installer left it like that - and given the flue joint is very high off the ground, we did not find this gap in the flue until some years later. It is clearly a manufacturer and/or installer issue but Mitre 10 want to debate it, saying it must be creosote without having done any sort of inspection and there being no evidence of creosote. They then said sweeping the flue damaged it, again without inspecting it. When we said it hadn't been swept, they then said not sweeping it has damaged it. So sweeping the flue damaged it and not sweeping it also damaged it! This is an amazing assessment given they have not actually physically sighted the issue, despite my giving them photos of the issue caused by the manufacturer or installer. They then tried to blame the Council. They are seeking any excuse to not honour the warranty. This is disgusting service. Absolutely appalling service. Mitre 10 and their installers do not stand behind their log burners. I will NEVER but another log fire from Mitre 10 again.
Today I just bought a camping tent, the guy helped me in just 1 minute, great attention and speed, and the lady at the cash desk is super friendly and attentive, although I don't speak English, the girl understood me perfectly, and very, very good attention and kindness of the bartender inside the bar, he is from Chile and he served me in Spanish, thanks for your kindness and attention
Only getting one star as checkout staff said good morning as we left the store otherwise it be no stars. We were looking for architrave and none of the timber in that area specified it was for that purpose and not to mention size differences etc well no help want so ever from the idiot stocking products down that aisle as when mentioned to my husband we need to ask for help the looked at us again and disappeared faster than you could say boo
