This is my favourite supermarket! Great layout, friendly staff and a lovely young man who helps me load my groceries into my car! The deli and bakery food is always fresh and custard squares are amazing.
Today I went to Greenmeadows to do my Grocery Shopping. Was it me or was I imagining it. No It was confirmed by my friend. It seems if you are brown you get stares from all the white folk there and its like what are you brown people in here. My money is just as good. The people at the delicatessen weren't friendly when my friend asked a question. To top it off at the checkout the check operator gave me a strange look when I asked could you check my clubcard to get my details as I thought I had left my Goldcard at home. She said No you have to have your gold card. Lo and behold I found it and the look she gave me as if I was lying. I love coming to get the meat here its fresh and well packed. I won't be bothered coming back with this kind of treatment. I will going back to my good old friendly people at Onekawa. The ladies there are fantastic. If they know you're a regular which I am they don't get all uppity if I don't have my Gold card on me they just swipe. Greenmeadows New World learn from Friendly staff at Onekawa. Went there with my dad today and the wise man at the bakery section told me that I should put sauce on the bourbon beef sausage roll. I did what that man said and he was so very correct. I might try to add photos eventually of the sausage roll.
Always a clean and presentable supermarket like most new worlds, however personally I've not yet come across a new world that makes pies like the supermarket. -Gourmet steak and blue vein pie 9.2/10 Very suprised this hasn't won any awards. They dont spare it on the blue vein, and steak peices are very high quality. If you love blue vein cheese, you'll love this. - Steak, bacon, and cheese pie 8.6/10 All aspects of this pie are on point. Would have been higher if it was the same.shape as the steak and blue vein. However, it's still a great pie.
Great store! This location has an amazing range of gluten free products! The smell of their hummingbird coffee when you walk in really helps create a welcome atmosphere. The flowers are so gorgeous! Also, produce is usually quite fresh unless it's out of season(which I'd say will be unavoidable at times). Prices are eh, but that's everywhere these days, so I don't really shopped based on price anymore. Haven't tried the sushi or deli items, but partner says their pastries and bakery items are okay. Store layout is ideal, even when it's really busy their employees work hard and are always very kind and helpful! It's my favorite store to shop at! (We usually shop really early, unless it's a Sunday, then we shop around afternoon.
Clean, neat tidy. Staff are ok. The place is very pretty and looks better then pakinsave. However prices are not cheap. Only shop here if you have too.
After such a horrible humiliating experience at onekawa new world earlier on Thursday I went to your store in the evening after forgetting a number of things and honestly the most beautiful service I’ve recieved in a very long time, you can tell the staff know their priority is their customers- store was beautiful clean and well stocked/organised. Thank you to your wonderful team here at greenmeadows new world, I had explained my earlier experience and your staff were so understanding and apologised that I’d recieved such service earlier at onekawa. Your store regained my faith in new world so thank you :)
