   I feel compelled to share my experience in the Napier Farmers store because of the exceptional service in the men’s clothing department. I went to the store to buy a suit for work and maybe a shirt or two, I was served by a super knowledgeable and courteous man by the name of Mike from his accent from the UK I think. Mike really helped me taking the time to check out various suit options including trying a few on to see what size fitted and looked best for me. In the end I purchased a suit deal that included two shirts I could select myself although Mike’s patience with that was awesome too, as well I got a free tie to choose also and to top it all off I also got given two samples of men’s colognes to try out that are also sold at Farmers. Everything went so well I bought another pair of work trousers that Mike also made sure was the right fit for me. Mike went above and beyond normal service and he obviously knew so much about clothing nuances and qualities I completely trusted his guidance, thank you Mike and Farmers Napier store, a very happy customer who had the best experience thanks again Mike.

   I have never in my life experienced the level of scrutiny and discomfort I did while visiting this store. Being visibly followed by both security and staff throughout my time there was not only humiliating—it was a clear display of racial profiling. First time for everything, I suppose. It is deeply disappointing, though sadly not surprising, that in 2025 this kind of discriminatory behaviour still occurs unchecked. What’s worse is the complete lack of accountability or even basic courtesy when confronted. No apology. No shame. If you are a person of colour, I strongly urge you to avoid this store. Your presence will not be welcomed, and you will not be treated with dignity. Discrimination is not just about what is said—it’s about what is silently condoned. This store has made its stance very clear.

   Its an ok shop. Lego is hella pricey though. $119.99 dollars for just lego flowers ? I think not. Im not that cheap but I aint spending a hundy on lego
