Returns/refund. A note of caution and advice I purchased an item on line and admit fully that I did not read in depth the conditions so this is ultimately my fault but interesting. I do a lot of on line shopping and am familiar with returning items for refunds ( I keep a lot more than I return). The refund advice detailed below is obscure and contradictory. Alexanders do not give a refund for change of mind on full price items only a store credit. I have come across this policy with on sale items and aside from Farmers, I have never experienced it for full price. Farmers are accessible in most centres. It is really hard when you cant get to the shop as finding something suitable online can prove difficult and potentially involve a lot of to and fro. It seems somewhat harsh. The refund advice reads " You have received a refund. It may take up to 10 days for the refund to appear in your account. ( Visa ending in**** my account number). Then on the last line it reads " Refund Store Credit. This tells me 2 different things and is confusing. When placing my order, I focussed on the usual key words of Refund to Credit Card and the requirement for the item to be returned with tags etc. In all fairness the wording is there about store credits only. There was nothing wrong with the product except the sizing did not suit. This is just a word of caution so that no one else falls into this.. Read the website thoroughly. I hope my experience helps.
Darren was not very friendly. The lady was awesome and helped me so much with my elderly husband. She went to look for a different size and Darren wondered where she went. I said she has gone to look for a bigger size. He didn't appear happy and said she should have asked me. Wow! I could not believe it; she was only trying to help. I went in again a few days later to look for a rain jacket. Oh, that man gives me a belly ache, he is so unfriendly and never smiles. I don't think I will shop there again, but if I do, I will only go in if I see that lady at the counter. Saying all that, although the clothing is expensive it is very good quality, and I ended up happy with what I had purchased. If you want good quality, you have to pay for it.
I’ll be honest I expected better from a high quality tailor. I was trying to find a colour match for a tie or bow tie. The woman I spoke with had absolutely zero interest in assisting me…quoting: “you know what you’re looking for”. I had brought in a sample of the fabric I was after for this exact reason. She then went back to unpacking stock and generally ignoring me. I understand your staff do have other work besides serving customers, but I don’t feel my request was over the top (especially for a team member who knows their product range). It’s disappointing that your staff decided to “write me off” Can’t in good faith recommend this business.
Awesome on-line service. Received product two days after ordering and that was rural. Will definitely shop here again

first time I ordered - pretty pointless exercise - as soon as I ordered I got an email saying they needed to refund me as item not in stock! I know these things happen - but for my first time using shop disappointed!
