We originally only had a booking for 2 days but loved Napier and the hotel so much we booked an extra 2 days at the hotel. Victor at reception, and all the hotel’s staff, are very kind and accommodating. The hotel is in a great location, everything is walkable from it, and you’re right in the middle of downtown art deco center. When we return to Napier we will be staying at the Art Deco Masonic again!”

“Napier Beach is without a question one of my favourite beaches in NZ. The dark grey sand/stone beach design and the fact that this place keeps getting more developed and utilised is actually great for the region. I visited recently, and had previously visited in 2016 and the changes were insane. Normally I would complain about tourism growth but I would much rather visit Napier than the Mount, as it fits my personality more. This is a beach and town that really requires a stay at a bach or hotel as there is plenty to see and explore along the coastline that I have not delved into yet.”
