“We stayed on site in the 2 bd, 2 bath place and it was excellent service, breakfast is in your room each day (too much food for the two of us to eat, good snacks for the day), there’s complimentary wine and additional wine for purchase, the restaurant is phenomenal and well priced and the estate is fun to walk around. A must stop on your New Zealand adventure!”

“We did a beer tasting and cider for the non beer drinkers. They are good on the gluten free drinks but I didn't eat. I was told the hot chips were pretty good. The others all got flights of beer, 5 beers form the tasting. I thoroughly enjoyed my cider and ginger beer but the alcoholic ginger beer unfortunately had gluten. We will be going back.”

“If you are coming to Napier, the Art Deco Masonic Hotel is the perfect place to stay. The rooms are clean, fun, and comfortable. We originally only had a booking for 2 days but loved Napier and the hotel so much we booked an extra 2 days at the hotel. Victor at reception, and all the hotel’s staff, are very kind and accommodating. The hotel is in a great location, everything is walkable from it, and you’re right in the middle of downtown art deco center. When we return to Napier we will be staying at the Art Deco Masonic again!”

Replacing the seating or 2. having them re-foamed/covered..they really were v. Uncomfortable. The seats are well past their use by date !”

“Napier Beach is without a question one of my favourite beaches in NZ. The dark grey sand/stone beach design and the fact that this place keeps getting more developed and utilised is actually great for the region. I visited recently, and had previously visited in 2016 and the changes were insane. Normally I would complain about tourism growth but I would much rather visit Napier than the Mount, as it fits my personality more. This is a beach and town that really requires a stay at a bach or hotel as there is plenty to see and explore along the coastline that I have not delved into yet.”
