We love it here. Food is delicious & filling. Service is second to none. Lovely cocktails and so many to choose from. Great atmosphere. Although we were here for dinner this evening, we just want to say that breakfast here is also so good!

Came here on a Sunday for lunch with a couple of girlfriends and the service was fantastic! Delicious meals, great value for money and one of the best virgin passionfruit mojitos I’ve ever had! Really nice spot across from the marina. Will definitely be recommending and returning again ourselves.
The 5 star reviews are well deserved. The quality of presentation and flavours of the meal and dessert are indicative of the experience of the chef, whom I discovered has international training. The attention to detail even for their fish and chips was a delight to see and puts others to shame. The flavours of the mango and coconut cheesecake was superbly balanced, not too tart, not too sweet. I intend to come back for breakfast. Spread the word…this is a great restaurant, with great ambience, service and food.
We stopped in for lunch today and were absolutely blown away. The food was delicious - the best fish and chips we've had in Hawke's Bay! Perfect batter, fresh fish, firm chips and it wasn't oily at all. My open steak sandwich was also delicious - meat cooked perfectly. The service was friendly, efficient, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing first experience at Winifred's. The food is outstanding! Sardine soldiers and the brazed cabbage were unexpected highlights. Atmosphere and service was spot on. We'll defiantly be back.
Winefreds would be a great location for a summer drink and meal outside in the sun. We had a fabulous main meal, but prices were quite high and you have to pay extra for your sides as well. Unfortunately the acoustics in the restaurant meant it was too loud for us. Thankfully the large group left so we could enjoy our meal in peace. Desert was so so, again rather expensive.
Winifred's is the coolest new place in Napier and Ahuriri. Sit and enjoy beautiful views of the marina and be warmed by the gorgeous suntrap. Juliana, Lyn, Tony and an awesome front of house group are awesome. Chef group world class. Awesome place for any weather. Outside and inside. Right next door to the iconic Uncle Cafe by Ryan. Enjoy.
We really enjoyed lunch in this new waterfront spot, meal was fabulous, the space looks gorgeous and will be an absolute summer hit - so nice to see a new place of this calibre in Napier! We’ll be back!
The food was epic, cocktails were perfect but.... the service was exceptional. Ultra friendly, good banter with good knowledge of all the dishes we tried. Definitely recommend and will be back
