   The food was absolutely exquisite, but it's the staff's kindness and their commitment to inclusivity that truly sets this place apart. I ordered the Mixed Shish (Lamb and Chicken Skewers, this comes with a fresh salad. I got the hot chilli and yoghurt, (a fantastic sauce combination), and rice. The hot chilli was so flavourful and spicy) The taste was unbelievably good. Made with great skill and care. This wasn't just a pleasant meal; it was one of the best dining/takeout experiences of my life. Thank you for making me feel so welcome. This is, without a doubt, the best restaurant I've visited! Definitely would go here again!

   We had come earlier in the year around Jan/feb and have not come across another Turkish spot like this. We are from Auckland and can’t find another that beats this. My brother recommended this place to us and it’s well worth the money the atmosphere mood and aura this place gives off is amazing and look forward to coming to the bay again to eat at this amazing restaurant

   We got the spicy cevapi and they were amazing. If you like spice like me, you will notice that they are not spicy, but they are tender and full of flavor. They are amazing. We also had chips and a sampler appetizer plate. All were good. One note: it did take a very long time for the food to come out. The place seems to be run by a family (there was an adorable child taking orders) and they do seem popular. Don’t stop by if you are in a hurry.

   Ate here while on holiday. There are no middle-eastern restaurants where I live and have really missed this style of food. Eating at Kilim was an absolute delight. Had a light lunch and full meal. So fresh and tasty. Turkish coffee and delicious baclawa to finish, what a treat!

   Food is just delicious! Well deserved 5 stars and unquestionable one of the best Turkish restaurants in the country. Simple, yet amazing choice of small dishes to share including many vegetarian options. Vegan on request! Our absolute favourite is vegetarian mezzo platter with nice choice of everything to try, but falafel kebab wrap is a solid choice if you are really hungry. Place doesn’t serve alcohol which is actually a nice one , just only BYO with $5 corkage fee. Service is bit overwhelmed by the number of people and slow, they happened to forgot one of our orders, but still food compensated overall experience.
