“I recently had this amazing platter, and it was absolutely delicious! The combination of grilled halloumi, falafel, rice, and the creamy sauces on top was just perfect — rich in flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. The hummus and tzatziki were authentic and full of taste, and the bread was soft and warm, perfect for dipping. The manager was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He made sure everything was served fresh and checked in to see if I was enjoying my meal — a nice personal touch that made the experience even better. You can really feel the passion for good food and customer satisfaction here. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a hearty, flavorful Mediterranean meal and genuine hospitality. “What a little gem! For a low price, I got a comfy tiny cabin with access to showers, restrooms, and the outdoor kitchen. Great location, just 20 minutes north of Napier. And the food is amazing, particularly the chicken filo, which I highly recommend.”

“Don't judge a book by its cover!! The place needs some love visually BUT.. Food was delish and so was the coffee! I had pancakes with blueberries and banana which were chunky and went down a treat, so much so that my toddler took most of them! hubby had eggs bene which got a big thumbs up too :) The lady was so friendly and so patient and kind to my extremely energetic toddler, made the whole trip better meeting her !”

“We visited Napier Ocean Spa around 4 PM as a family of four—my wife, our two sons, and myself. We took advantage of the family rate, which was a nice deal. The experience was fantastic as we got to enjoy a relaxing soak in the warm spa pools while gazing at the beautiful ocean. The price was affordable, and the warm water felt especially refreshing after a long time. One thing we particularly appreciated was that it wasn’t too crowded, which allowed us to fully enjoy the spa experience. There was also a lukewarm pool for the kids to play in, which kept them entertained for a good two hours. It was a comfortable and enjoyable visit for all of us. If we ever return to Napier, we would love to visit Ocean Spa again!”

“Nice little Thai restaurant on Marine Pde. Was a busy Saturday night post marathon day and while service was pretty good, would have been great with maybe one more waitress helping. “I haven't actually eaten here but I can vouch for the professional nature of management. I stupidly ordered by mistake from Thai Lotus believing they were a in fact Lotus Thai in Taupo. Upon contacting Thai Lotus the owner was extremely accommodating and we agreed to refund 50% of my mistake. They probably didn't have to do this, so very impressed they were so reasonable. Deserve more business for being good humans.”
