“Tucked away down a side street, this place is a hidden gem - we were lucky to spot it. Fab array of gourmet retail goodies, and delicious deli treats. Ordered a (delicious) hot chocolate and cappuccino - and the custard donut was to die for! Highly recommend if you’re in the area.”

“We were visiting Havelock North shopping for groceries to make dinner and discovered they have cooked roast meat, gravy and roast vegetables! Very reasonably priced. “Ty Deserves a McRaise! You know, I’m not usually one for writing reviews like this but hey after my experience today I had no choice. The new manager Ty is an absolute legend. You can tell he runs the place like it’s a five star restaurant. He is friendly, efficient and very organised. I ordered a Happy Meal from McDonalds, but I can safely say it wasn’t the cheeseburger or the toy making me happy it was Ty. Honestly, if I had it my way I would put Ty’s face on the Happy Meal. I dined in, but what I really wanted was to take Ty out. Amazing experience really, will come again. Ty, if you are reading this, never leave! You are the McHero we didn’t know we needed.”

“Advintage offers a wide array of international and local beverages, all of which are reasonably priced and--don't tell everyone--all seem even lower than nearby wineries. Yes, you could dash in to pick up a bottle of whatever you'd like. Happily, whenever you'd like to learn about the local wines, the ground from which they emerge and the people who and processes which produce them, Advintage staff knows all that and explains it in terms that are fascinating and as detailed as you'd like. Plus, they are enthusiastic, welcoming and fun. If only all retailers were this good...”

A must stop on your New Zealand adventure!”

“This was the best meal I've had at a restaurant in ages. Attentive and friendly service, pleasant surroundings. The food was fantastic, great value for the money. We enjoyed the gnocchi with oyster and lions mane mushrooms, as well as the perfectly cooked tarakihi fillet with asparagus, shredded fennel, wilted greens and salsa verde. A good wine list and beautiful Little City kombucha completed our meal. We will be back next time we're in this part of the country.”
