   This breakfast place is really great. The person working the counter was cheerful and was open to accommodating special requests. She was also very reasonable with the options for our food. Although we didn’t buy anything from the display case it looked delicious. Our breakfast was super tasty and the portions were great. Pancakes were soft and fluffy. Great place to grab breakfast before work or anytime.

   Wasn’t sure on here but based on previous reviews decided to give it a go. The food was disappointing. Poached eggs overcooked and bacon very fatty. The staff were friendly and welcoming but unfortunately that’s the only good thing I can say. After visiting I walked past a number of cafes which looked much nicer.

   Don't judge a book by its cover!! The place needs some love visually BUT.. Food was delish and so was the coffee! I had pancakes with blueberries and banana which were chunky and went down a treat, so much so that my toddler took most of them! hubby had eggs bene which got a big thumbs up too :) The lady was so friendly and so patient and kind to my extremely energetic toddler, made the whole trip better meeting her !

   Poppy’s Cafe is a must visit if you’re in Napier! The food is fantastic and the service unmatched. The owner/operators were incredibly kind and funny and have created such a warm and inviting atmosphere, I’ll be smiling when I think back on this cafe for years to come. I had the fresh fruit and cream pancake stack and took a fudgy brownie to go, and both were to die for!

   Awesome pancakes and waffles. Huge portion and fresh fruits were so delectable. Great hospitality. We will definitely be back at this cafe when we visit Napier.
