I had an unpleasant experience at this Bar about a year ago. After a long shift at work, I arrived with my boss, still in my hi-vis gear. Despite clearly being of age and accompanied by my employer, I was refused entry by an older man—who I believe was the owner or manager—because I didn’t have my ID on me. I was also told I wouldn’t be served and was then asked to leave. While I fully respect the need to check ID, the way it was handled came across as unnecessarily strict and lacking in professionalism or basic courtesy. It felt unfair and dismissive, especially after a hard day’s work. A little common sense and better customer service would have gone a long way.
