“Hillcrest Fresh Supermarket is hands down the best place in Hamilton for fresh fruits and vegetables. Their prices are way better than the big chains, and the quality is always top-notch. I love that I can get all my Indian groceries and international items in one go. Their weekly specials-especially on eggs and bread-are the cheapest I've found. Definitely my go-to for my weekly grocery shop!”

“I visited a few second hand shops and found this one to be really well organized and tidy with a good variety of clothing to suit all ages. Reasonably priced items in clean condition. I found similar items at other second hand stores in town that were double the price and in worser condition.”

“I recently visited Gails of Tamahere to attend a function and honestly the place is just so beautiful. The two historical churches on the property are lovely, and gardens are so nicely kept. In addition to that, the beautiful fountain and long stretching attached pool are breathtaking. Next I have to mention the food which is all produced on the premises and not just purchased elsewhere and decorated. The little canapes I was served were exquisite, her passion fruit cheesecakes are to die for. The meats and veges in the main meal were cooked to perfection, the salads were so fresh and tasty, and served with the most lovely homemade dressings. The guy on the bar (Daniel) is such a nice guy and all Gail's staff are so friendly and really go out of their way to look after you. I would not hesitate to recommend Gails of Tamahere to anyone looking to book a function, lunch or funeral. Thank you so much Gail!”

They said not to worry, sent me off to enjoy the city and had it dropped to my hotel just around the corner. “My friend wanted me to write this review for her! (since I am a Local Guide for Google) Blaze N Chill overall is a great shop :) ...HOWEVER recently it has been randomly closed!!!!! On Both Sunday and Wednesday (today) she walked past and the shop was completely shut. I think others are having this same problem... As far as she is concerned Blaze N Chill haven't advised their customers on this issue. In conclusion my friend says that as of right now she's extremely disappointed.”

“It is one of the best op shops in Frankton, Hamilton. There are 4 op shops nearby there(appr.300 meters radius).However, this shop has comparatively lesser prices and more bargains. You may find some brand new products too. There are almost all products including clothes, furniture, books, homewares, jewelry and so on. As you purchase here 1.Indirectly donating for charity and hence many needy people will be helped. 2 Encourages Reuse, consequently less pollution to environment Also, it is good platform for doing volunteer jobs. There are many dedicated volunteers including Samuel and Nia. Similarly, a very supportive shop manager - Guneet will help you at any time.”

“I noticed so many poor reviews, and they didn’t seem fair so I wanted to add my own. I brought my dog in and ended up having an overnight stay. Was it expensive? Yes. It’s an emergency, after hours clinic- I expect it to be costly. Did I wait a long time? Yes, there were other animals that needed higher priority care. Did they take good care of my boy at the end of the day? Yes. I interacted with MANY staff members and they were all kind, empathetic, and genuinely cared for me and my dog. They broke down the cost of things and added up the prices at every step to let me know where we were at and what my options were. When my dog had to be admitted over night they let me stay with him as long as I needed and gave me tissues and offered me the kitchen to make a hot drink. I got to see how the girls in the back talked to the other animals there and I was comforted knowing I could leave my boy with them because he would receive that same quality of care. They assured me over and over that they would call if anything happened or that I could come back at any point in the middle of the night. And they did. At the end of the day- nobody wants to have to have a pet emergency. Nobody wants to spend $1000 and wait hours in a clinic. But the staff here were so wonderful and I appreciate every single one of them for how they treated me and my boy.”

Finding staff this genuinely warm and eager to help totally proves my point: great service is completely defined by the little details... They just anticipate everything! Like when they enthusiastically brought us a side table for tea outside—even though we didn't ask Or the front desk noticing my glasses and politely handing me a cleaning cloth. Gotta love that kind of personal touch, it’s just phenomenal! If you appreciate a team where the details truly make the difference, you gotta stay here!”
