Purchased bag of tomatoes today and they are rotting... good side of tomatoes are on the outside so you can't see the rotten ones on the inside. They should have been thrown out. As repacked the store they would have known about the poor quality. Feeling ripped off buying rotten vegetables.

I normally don’t write bad reviews, because I realise that people have bad days and good days. I’ve been coming to this shop for many years when it was owned by Chinese people and then bought by the current Indian owners. The only person in the shop (other than the owner) who knows anything about the products is a lovely Chinese woman that worked for the previous owners. I’m a pensioner and they’ve always given me a small discount, but the new Indian woman on the checkout hasn’t got a clue & she can’t speak English even though I present my card every time she still charges me without giving a discount. And watch the prices here too and always ask for a receipt. Last straw was today when the cashier did exactly the same thing as she always does. To the owners: If you employ people please make sure they are trained & learn the language.
I bought a bag of tomatos for $1.99 and they charged me $5.98 for 2 bags @ $2.99 each (the price is still on the bag). It is no wonder the guy at the counter engaged in conversation with the customer behind me, this is their way of distracting the customers. What a nasty move! Wont be shopping there again! PLEASE KEEP A TRACK OF HOW MUCH THEY ARE CHARGING. Its not only about money but the fact that I drove all the way there to be charged $1 per rotten tomato! Shame!

Better check your recipes after your purchase. This shop always charges an extra for the special price. Today, I bought one broccoli, and they charged me $2.99 EA on counter. But for the special shown, they sell it 1.99ea and $5 for 3. When I went back to the store told them the problem, their boss (Indian guy) did not say sorry to me, just ask his staff to refund $1 back. I would like to know, this time I find this problem and back to get $1 refund, what about other people who do not normally check their receipts after purchase? How much $$$ did you earn extra from the wrong charge? Also as a boss even not apology to the customer, how he can lead his staff provide good services?
Fruit city has variety of products on their shelves. Plenty of parking outside and the store inside is also very neat and tidy.
Great service & Specials, plenty of space to allow distancing at level 2. Fresh fruit and veg at great taste will be back to explore other sections soon
