The store has a nice variety of quality items, all at good prices. It is clear that they ensure all donations are appropriate for reselling. The employees are nice and polite, resulting in a very pleasant experience!
Overall I’ve always enjoyed visiting this shop, but when I made a donation today I felt really uncomfortable. The lady who inspected my things was quite rude and I felt I was being interrogated.
Kia ora, this is a review of a particular employee at the store and not the store overall (my previous experiences were fantastic): Today I wanted to donate clothes to this store, as I had done last year. While I understand that the things being donated have to be checked for quality purposes, what this employee did was beyond rude. She rejected most of the clothes I brought because they were, and I quote, "stinky", as she brought them to her face to sniff them individually. Moreover, she would toss them back to me instead of handing them to me properly, and she barely looked me in the eye. She did not give any other reason for the rejection. The irony is that the one shirt she accepted was washed a while ago, while the rejected ones were washed recently! Never mind the lack of greetings, I am uncomfortable with an employee who behaves disrespectfully towards donors and the items being donated. This is unfortunate for a charity that I have always admired for their hard work in making the world a better place. I truly hope that this review could help in educating your employees/volunteers overall so as not to jeopardise this charitable endeavour.
The last 3 times both my Mother and I went to this store we could barely enter we both got a strong smell of what ever air freshener or cleaner they use witch affected my mother's sinus and my Asthma, as the smell was that harsh. When we tried to tell the lady about it, she was rather rude. Want be going back again.
There’s quite a lot to see for a smaller location. Increased signage would help since the clothing racks are pretty dense and it can be hard to figure out where to browse for specific things like particular sizes jeans and plus sized or not clothing.
This store is very well done. The manager Rachel helped me with a lot with shopping. She gave me great advice on what to wear, with the quality dresses and tops that were priced well and looked brand new. The selection of shoes were very nice and clean, and the whole store was clean and spotless. They were all very nice and helpful.
Found two tops I like. I really like it. It's nice, clean, with some really nice clothes and nice people. 5 stars
