“We had a lovely stay at Andre’s farm, wonderful host. A calm peaceful environment, we loved all the sheep, mini horses, ducks, fowls, chickens, and wide impressive variety of exotic birds. We were sad to leave and definitely wished we could stay longer. Would definitely stay here again!”

“It’s not often that a place you stay at ticks all the boxes, theres always something wrong or a bit weird, but not here. The Breakfast provided (with home made elements and local produce from growers markets) was excellent, the beds and pillows were great and super comfy (this is something I often find disappointing at hotels) , and the bathrooms were just like a 5 star luxury hotel. John and Kay + their friendly dogs were the perfect hosts, and in a way it was like staying with friends. They provided a cot and high chair for our 9 month old baby, plus made the main area safe for him to roam around in (and tolerated his yelling throughout the night) The surrounding bushland and the serenity emanating from it cannot be accurately described, just book a few nights here and experience it for yourself!”

“We stayed for two nights at the beautiful Awa Retreat, what a lovely place to stay, the hosts Cathy and Murray are so friendly it is like meeting old friends, the apartment is clean and tidy and has all the comforts of home, the breakfasts are beautiful and the wild bird life just outside the property is just delightful. The location right beside the Mighty Waikato River is perfect, a stroll along the walkway was very relaxing and we enjoyed seeing the native trees flourishing in this pretty spot. “Loved it. The owners were amazing, the place is just lovely and so relaxing. We stayed as a sports team and we seamlessly fitted onto the rooms, the kitchen, the lounge and the dining area. Other than the parking being a smidgeon tight, you can't fault the place.”

“This is a really great place to stay in Raglan. There's a really big kitchen and a smaller one. There's free wifi everywhere and the facilities gets cleaned properly everyday. They even have a sauna and a big chill out area. The people are very nice and the surf lessons they offer are great as well. They also offer yoga lessons everyday on a awesome platform with a stunning view on the sea. There is really nothing to complain about, I can highly recommend this hostel.”

“Small town quiet escape off the beaten catch. The rooms were very nice, especially the master bedroom which offered great space and sitting area. John and Jenny were Accomdating and cooked a great breakfast. The immaculate garden, sheep in the backyard, and mountain in the distance made the stay memorable. No credit card payment.”

“Didn't stay, just visited. Lovely people, welcoming, will go the extra mile. Rooms are what you'd imagine in a fairy tale! Pretty, luxurious, lovely colours, sumptuous looking beds, bathrooms amazing. Rex is a fantastic cook, dinning room looks out to front, main road, lounge with comfortable sofa & chairs, fire place, decor rich & colorful, situated in middle of house with doors to a veranda for outside relaxing. This is a lovely old Villa, high ceilings, long entrance hallway with decor to match & Linda's art work gracing the upper walls. If you want something different than modern, this is it! They have regulars visiting, & even folk who work for a while in the area will live there. Enjoy.”

“Great host with really good communication for easy check in and he also let me check in earlier. Great place, it's a lovely old character place that has been done up with new bathrooms, kitchen etc. Clean, good facilities/furnishings and warm (heating throughout). Fairly priced too unlike some places that charge more and aren't as nice. Would stay again when travelling through and recommend to others.”

“My Wife and I stayed at the Cobb Cottage on our wedding night and were blown away by the beautiful place and friendly service. We were greeted with a candle-lit atmosphere, (good) bottle of bubbles, good sized chocolate desserts and fresh baked bread. The Cottage was very clean and tidy and fitted out in a beautiful way that makes the entire place a piece of artwork. In the morning a fresh loaf of bread and hot tea were left for us on the outside table. Found in the fridge were a variety of drinks and the ingredients (and recipe) for a fantastic smoothee. We enjoyed this out of the sunny deck where it is easy to relax for the whole day. The way the place is arranged, the house and grounds are nicely private. We really would recommend this to anyone and wish we had booked in for longer. Looking forward to heading back one day!”

“I was so nervous today, after having a poor experience with another dental clinic and was left traumatised. However at Tui Dental in Parkwood - today Dr Mercedes Dizon and her assistant were super helpful and engaging, they made the environment that much more relaxing. The vibes were so good, I highly recommend these ladies and this dental! I’ll definitely be back in the new year to have my wisdoms removed. Thanks a million team, and have a great Christmas!”
