We went to the Hobbiton evening banquet so staying close was vitally important after a few ales at the Green Dragon. The BnB was spotless and pretty. We even got homemade bread. I don't think they are pet friendly but not sure, we didn't include our dog this time
Great place to stay, especially when you plan to visit the Hobbiton. It is only 5 minutes from here. Lovely cat and good breakfast. Host is very friendly. Room is spacy, also the bathroom.
Awesome BnB and so close to Hobbiton! Comfy bed, great decor, stylish, clean, quiet, delicious freshly baked bread, great hospitality, cute cat - I would have snuggled up with her but she's not allowed inside. It can be quite cold in winter but they do have an a/c and heating lamps in the bathroom, windows however let in much cold air although we've seen worse.
Such a wonderful BnB. We stopped here for our last night before leaving NZ and we were in need of a relax. The lovely apartment, fluffy dressing gowns, warm bedding and homebaked bread and lots of tea was perfect. Tracy was a welcoming host and the BnB cat Millie was super friendly too. Thanks for a fab stay.
Fantastic time at Buckland BnB! Excellent accommodation and hospitality, will definitely come here again. The Hobbiton Movie tours are literally a two minute drive and the setting is 100% rural New Zealand. Super impressed!
