Amazing weekend away at the Institute of Awesome - lodge was perfect, and accommodated three large families with a tribe of kids well. Heaps to explore, great bush walks, super clean rooms with great beds and linen. Highlight was definitely the secret lab and Zoe and Vaughanβs hospitality. Will definitely be back!
Had an amazing time here with outstanding natural surroundings with easy access to the sea and forests. It's impressive to see the bush right by your room. The facilities were good including a great kitchen, however, it was a pity that the sauna wasn't operational. Overall, a great trip. P.S There are really big native moths here and cool glowworms
What an amazing place!! We stayed here with our campervan for a night, and felt right at home. We rented two surfboards from the lodge and had a blast on the waves. The people are super friendly and atmosphere is relaxing. Loved it.
It's a really interesting place for a hostel. The rooms and facilities are built onto the hillside. Getting from your room to the kitchen and bathrooms is a bit inconvenient. But it's a great location and Inspiration Point is beautiful addition!

They even have a sauna and a big chill out area. The people are very nice and the surf lessons they offer are great as well. They also offer yoga lessons everyday on a awesome platform with a stunning view on the sea. There is really nothing to complain about, I can highly recommend this hostel.

Nice, clean and cozy rooms. Good bathrooms. Chilly community room with free pool table. Very nice people. Had a surf lesson. Teacher was awesome! I want to get back to this place!
