   Do not stay here in winter, the whole house was freezing, the panel heater in the bedroom did precious little to raise the temperature. Says continental breakfast.... you get cereal and toast, only white bread and full fat milk, not even any fruit juice.

   The good: free parking, good location, eaay walk to restaurants, nice shared kitchen and outdoor upstairs patio. The price is very reasonable, and the history of the property is interesting. It was a maternity hospital in the past. The room, however, was crowded, with old and uncomfortable furniture, and the bathroom small with minimal supplies

   Great host with really good communication for easy check in and he also let me check in earlier. Great place, it's a lovely old character place that has been done up with new bathrooms, kitchen etc. Clean, good facilities/furnishings and warm (heating throughout). Fairly priced too unlike some places that charge more and aren't as nice. Would stay again when travelling through and recommend to others.

   Have stayed here several times. Can’t praise this place enough. It’s clean, the rooms are nice and warm. Beds are comfortable and the toilets are clean. Best place to stay after a long hard day day at work and home is too far away.

   I had a terrible stay here a couple weeks ago. I arrived and found a drunk guy with beer bottles everywhere. I phoned the owner, Kevin however nothing was done. The shared shower was smelly and not very clean, especially bathmat. I wasn't feeling comfortable due to other guest so I left for a few hours for dinner. I then went to bed but was woken at 2am by the drunken guest who told me he had lost his keys and needed to get in. In the morning I explained this to the owner who told me he was very sorry, and that he had proceeded to cleaning the beer bottles up. When I asked Kevin about a refund he said no, as he couldn't control anything that has happened on this evening. Very disappointing stay and subsequent outcome to this. Felt more like a backpackers than comfortable bed and breakfast. Would not recommend at all.

   This is fantastic place to stay, great value for money, an absolute beautiful house, very quiet and pleasant, extremely clean with shampoos & conditioners plus shower gel. Great selection of breakfast, only thing I would mention is that it would be great if there were dairy free options, but honestly so easy to overlook that because it's such a comfortable stay. The beds were comfy and towels are also included. I would recommend this place to anyone!
