“I couldn’t rate this medical centre high enough. Nothing worse than being on holiday and your child getting sick. The reception staff spoke to me with compassion and booked my son in as fast as they could and the doctor explained everything in detail and was excellent with my son. You’re getting so much for your money here. Comfy bed, modern decor and bathroom. Heating. Electric blankets. It provides for a very comfortable stay.”

“I was travelling through the South Island/Christchurch from Canada when I was struck by an upper respiratory bug. I contacted Doctors on Cashel and they provided swift and professional service. I was provided with some recommendations/nasal steroid which helped immensely. Within a couple days and was back on my feet. “I highly recommend NP Mark Santry. Mark is very professional and experienced and performs his duties equal to or more expertly than any previous GP I have attended. I was initially sceptical of the role of a Nurse Practitioner but not any more. If referred to a NP, you can have confidence in their ability and expertise. The reception staff are always helpful and courteous and I was impressed with the first appointment with the Practice Nurse who introduced me to the practice.”

From day one, the staff have been nothing short of amazing—friendly, caring, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. I love that I can phone up and they know exactly who me and my dog(s) are. “I ordered the buttered lamb gnocchi which I would definitely recommend - food was served within 10 minutes piping hot - the portion size was decent - the food tasted great - plenty of lamb which was so tender and plenty of sauce which had a kick to it”

“This hostel is very authentic. Walking in feels like you've arrived at an international living room; the vibe is instantly welcoming. It's very easy to meet other travellers here. Plus, good location, free Wi-Fi, and a garden with a Calisthenics "monkey bar" are good bonuses!”

“Scenic view from your window of ducks in a pond and wagyu cows in the fields. Clean room and the best food prepared by the great host. Serene, quiet place to ponder and savor goodness. Staying here is very refreshing to the soul.”

“Lyn and Kerry are amazing hosts! They went out of their way multiple times to assure we felt at home. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Christchurch. In addition, the price is unbelievably low for the quality and comfort Avalon Motel provides. “Great spot if you’re here for a conference where you’ll be spending all day out. It’s about 500m from the Te Pae conference center, right in the middle of the city. The rooms are small, but they are self contained with private bathrooms. The internal rooms with no windows are affordably priced and they are clean. The reception is available 24/7 so it’s great for any late check ins. I really can’t fault this accommodation.”
