   We recently spent four nights at the Diplomat. Although an older motel the rooms were spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. It was well equipped and everything worked properly. Happy to recommend this motel.

   Put into a Damp room, could smell & see dampness..moldy shower curtain, loose fittings and fixtures on windows & lights.outside rear entrance light blown.Moss on outdoor furniture. Limited Netflix connection, kept cutting out. Housekeeping staff lovely, friendly & helpful. Management not so friendly. Says sound proofing between units but no. Mold growing on window. Bathroom taps needed new washers, difficult to turn off properly. Shower had no sticker to say which way was hot or cold. Pool & spa were no longer active. Stayed nearly 2 weeks.. Only good thing was you can take your Dog/ cats, otherwise would never return..plenty of Heaters tho Need to keep up with regular maintenance & don't pay for room 13, it's damp! Couch smelled of human pee.. Need to wipe down all surfaces with a spray cleaner and wash cushions regularly

   Very friendly and obliging. Units are a bit older but very clean. Very comfortable bed and bedding. No street noise even though it's on a busy road. Will definitely stay here again.

   This place is not safe for young families as it is also used as government housing and transitional/halfway housing. We had to leave after the first night as it wasn’t safe and it has been a real issue getting a refund with the owner and they have shown no compassion. The rooms are not what looks like on the website and the playground is not safe for children to play on. They maybe new owners but they have not kept up with how it “used” to look.

   Lucky I have put one star as there is no option for 0, the website is misleading, the provided photos must have been from years ago. The pool had moss all through it, it wasn't heated as advistised, we were advised the spa was under repair, yes it was but looked like there was no attempt for a repair as the water left in it was smelly and brown, the play ground was a moldy trampoline, very very disappointed. To top it off I had my children with me and it felt a little unsafe due to what we thought were tenants in some of the unit. Not recommended at all

   Very bad experience. Upon arrival Wendy had got the booking dates wrong so had to come back two days later. My family of 5 stayed for 5 days n during our stay we were refused milk as a customer spoken to rudely, harassed after making a complaint of how the room had not been cleaned. Everything that they advertise on how clean n beautiful garden/swimming pool/spa/bbq/playground is all false advertising. It is a complete disaster. Pool was green garden hadn't been done for what l believe looks to be at least 6months. Looks like a dump. Also to raise awareness they don't clean the top covers of the bed. After servicing my room after 4days they didn't want to take the covers n asked to leave them in the closet. I wouldn't recommend this place to any family. Very Poor hygiene n very rude, unprofessional owner. I also took photos of the state of this place. It bearly deserves 1star

   Not the best place to stay. They rang us to say they had no one in the office here's your room number. That's all good. Get to room plugs all broken off electric blankets so were unusable. Quarter of a roll of toilet paper had to go buy our own. No port a cot supplied so there for no where for my 6 month old to sleep. Get to the morning only 2 towels supplied for us 2 adults staying no towels provided for all staying 2 adults 2 children. Other motels I've stayed in all supplied enough for both of us and our children. We were up for hospital appointments for our 2 year old needless to say with no bed for our baby not much sleep had the night before important appointments. Will not recommend to anyone did not enjoy my stay.
