   No stars. This place is a scam. The accommodations do NOT match the photos. I never got a code. Management was unresponsive when I tried to contact repeatedly. Avoid to prevent extreme disappointment.

   Further to my husbands review 2 weeks ago stating about poor exterior condition, empty indoor pool, flies, bird droppings over exterior and windows etc and the owners response for us to get in touch with them and they will look into this, we have now sent 2 emails directly to the correct email address and have still to receive a response! This in itself says a lot about the owner / manager of the property so this is a review about their poor service level

   Hi, we are trying to get a hold of you regarding a booking in 2 days time for a wedding party to stay the night before and of but have had no response, your phone is now going straight to voicemail. Can you please contact the booking you have for Thursday night to provide details as the reviews being provided are rather worrying.

   Beware this is not a rural luxury boutique guest house, I believe it may have been sometime ago but not know. We thought we were going to a nice hotel style accommodation but it is just a room in an unmanaged large house on the busy and very noisy sh73. The exterior is in poor order and the windows are covered in bird droppings, there were a number of dead and live blue bottle flies, which we could not kill as we have not got fly killer, the balconies do not come with the table and chairs as pictures show, just a table and a broken something by it, the swimming pool is drained so not in use, and you cannot speak to anyone as number only ever goes to a voicemail, wires hanging out of wall just above bed. The advert is very misleading. In fairness apart from the flies, bird poo, wires hanging from wall and poor balcony, the rooms was clean and looked good. We elected not to stay and walked out as this was not what we had paid for.

   The very worst experience. Stayed for our daughters wedding no heating and NO WATER!!! Can't have a drink of water let alone a shower!! No one answers phone. It's an absolute joke!!!

   Sadly the property is looking quite run down compared to the photos. We didn’t use the outdoor seating areas because they were so dirty. No host/staff available during our stay which was a strange experience.

   Scenic view from your window of ducks in a pond and wagyu cows in the fields. Clean room and the best food prepared by the great host. Serene, quiet place to ponder and savor goodness. Staying here is very refreshing to the soul.
