Good sized rooms with good sized bathroom. Not far to bus stop. Just around corner from Edgeware which has pub, supermarket, restaurant etc. 2.2 kms walk to city if that is your preferred mode of transport.
The photos make this place look lovely. Booked two large units for family. On arrival, opening the doors of both units it smelt strongly of unwashed people. Appears to have been used for emergency housing. Very rough inside and a lot of damage, walls were filthy, beds had hair on them, the couches were stained and smelt bad, and the floor wasn’t vacuumed. Unfortunately it was non refundable and we had such a large group we ended up purchases $50 of cleaning products and our own bedding and towels just to make it bare able as we did not feel comfortable with the children touching the surfaces. Another motel on the same unit that is not shown in any of the photos and a lot less tidy. The windows also don’t shut properly which makes the road noise very loud.
We had the unfortunate luck to be placed in a room next to the road. We did not get any sleep because it was extremely noisy. The windows do not close properly, allowing the wind to whistle through the gaps.d to whistle through the gaps.I do t recommend it as an overnight stay.
Reading some of the comments here lol. Some people are just hard to please, complaining about an ant and punishing the business with a poor review. This place was $99 on a weekend. Seriously. You’re getting so much for your money here. Comfy bed, modern decor and bathroom. Heating. Electric blankets. It provides for a very comfortable stay.
We got robbed while staff were cleaning apartment. While the accommodation was comfortable, the description states 'kitchenette' but only a microwave / toaster / kettle provided. Only 2 each of basic cutlery + crockery are provided. The road noise is quite disruptive.
Easy check in and the guy in the front desk was very helpful and super friendly . I could hear all the noises of people walking above the apartment and it was a bit irritating. Except that all good
The motel manager is very accommodating. Room was clean with comfy beds. Easy parking. I left my headset behind and the manager called & text me to collect!
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Apartments 118. The rooms were well presented at exceptionally clean, and the manager (I think his name was Rann) was most hopeful and accommodating and was able to answer any questions that I had. Will definitely stay there again next time I am in town.
