Got sweet and sour chicken.chicken too long in length.no pineapple at all.no rice in the meal Chicken rubbery.19 dollars.waste of money.waste of my time.you hear the story.try it once never again.give it 3 months and it will be closed down.need a good chef who knows how to cook.
I used to go there for lunch, I would get a large tray of Chinese food they would select for me. But seems there is not much food cooked ready for lunch time. The lady puts mostly vegetables in the dish rather then meat. I bit Into a wonton and inside to my surprise was a big black fly type bug. I took it up to the counter as I dinned inn and she offered me $1 for the won ton. I asked for my full refund and safe to say I will not be back again. I loved wontons, now I never want to see anothe one. Therefore my experience was not a good one.(no hate) I respect hard work. I just hate bugs in my food. Xo
Went there 10/05/25 at 4.30pm all the way from kaiapoi to get Chinese food for tea. We were highly disappointed in the quality of food. We spent $90 & in return got rock-hard sweet and sour pork(obviously from the day before as our JackRussell dog could barely even chew it), the meat in the combination fried rice was dry and hard(obviously from the day before also)and the cauliflower in all the dishes was musty tasting and limp. These idiots must think that by selling old food from the day before that they will save $$$ but instead all they have done is lost future business from us and everyone else that we tell, and we will tell alot of people. Can not recommend this place to anyone also they are dishonest and tax avioders because when we paid in cash they never rang up the transaction so I'll be letting IRD aware of this also.

Very disappointed with roast pork meal. Everything very dry and unappetising. Gravy is obviously made from packets and very watery. Basically YUK!
Stumbled upon this restaurant yesterday and by far had the best Chicken fried rice and a tasty Chowmien. Service was fast. Will definitely be going there again.
So much variety on the menu, no matter how big or fussy your group/family is there's definitely something for everyone. The biggest secret is how incredible the burgers are! There's so much delicious stuff on the menu it's hard to choose between the Chinese menu and the roast dinners ... You could probably eat here every day for a year & not have the same meal twice (& you'll enjoy every mouthful)
