The dumplings were great, but the staff member who served me clearly didn't want to be there. She lazily tossed the electronic notifier on the bench without looking at me. I felt like I was just annoying spending my money there. I won't go back.

The best dumplings in Chch!! Such awesome value for money and consistently good quality. The bar on Lichfield Street is also great. Definitely recommend!
Crap. Paid $22 for a dozen tasteless pork & coriander dumplings with an equally bland soy sauce poured all over which created a soggy mess. Disgusting.
We like dumplings but so many places seem to make dumplings no better than some you can buy from the supermarket. Pot Sticker Dumplings at The Colombo, they know how to make a GREAT dumpling, beautifully cooked and served. Probably the best dumplings we have had in a long time.
Best dumplings I've ever had! Shared the mixed dozen with my partner, and each on had more flavour than the last! Also very filling!
Busy place and slow for fried dumplings, would be nice if you had an app to allow online orders. Or take phone orders to speed up. Gluten free options would be appreciated!!
A good busy bustling vibe. A good selection of dumplings that are freshly made. The staff are very friendly, full of smiles and efficient. Staff making sure the orders are taken and delivered with help of an electric buzzer after making the order. A lengthy wait gives you time to find a seat in good court type style. You can actually watch the dumplings being made and cooked. Dumplings received were steamed and served with a nice vinegar, chives or spring onion and spicy chili. Tasted great and obviously fresh.
I really l like their Beef and Beetroot dumpling. Very unique.
