“I recently had a knee operation at St George’s Hospital, and I can’t speak highly enough of the care and professionalism I experienced throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, Lynda at reception made me feel welcome and reassured, setting a positive tone for my visit. The nursing team on Ward 3 was nothing short of exceptional. Catherine, Sarah, Melissa, Dawn, and student nurse Jess all went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and well cared for. Their kindness, patience, and dedication made a real difference to my recovery, and I am truly grateful for their support. I know there may be other staff members who also contributed to my care, and I sincerely appreciate all their efforts, even if I haven’t mentioned them by name. The hospital facilities were also impressive. My single room was kept spotlessly clean, which added to my comfort during my stay. The meals were well-prepared and tasty, ensuring I was well-nourished as I recovered. Overall, my experience at St George’s Hospital was outstanding. The staff’s professionalism and compassion made all the difference, and I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of care. Thank you to everyone who played a part in my recovery!”

“A really good vet clinic , my cat is still under treatment so I don't know about her outcome yet .It will be a while to get her stable and ongoing .She couldn't be in better hands. I think she is very unwell ,she went away for 2 -3 days and just came back tonight. I fed her and my stray black cat came in for his fed.they don't get on as he is a real male ,unneutered and think he's a feral/exdomestic cat possibly dumped or left behind when young he did the cat flap next door & got kicked out harshly so came into mine he was starving.. I kicked him out as there was a big cat fight ,mine hid under the bed eventually ,He has scooted out the flap but 5 minures he comes back with this low growl 'keep away' big bluff actually . So I fed him some of that shredded meat and he was one happy cat and he loves milk (I know it's not too good for their lungs apparently) but he drunk 2 bowls and got into the cat biscuits .He's sporadic though I never know when he'll turn up and now I'm allowed to pet him .I slipped him a dewormer tab and is now a pitch black nice cat. The Manx I think is too ill to save Petal needs to sleep but I can't get her out from under the bed . I'm too disabled to reach her ,I tried but shes found a good spot.Mean while I adopted Rufus an 8 year old mixed breed big like a lab. He's a softie ,loves food and likes me the source of delights .He has to sample tit bits off my plate I hand him or I risk losing the whole lot and he loves icecream & custard .Sorry to ramble but I'm in bit of a panic with Petal she needs out and in the cage when I can get her to my vet in Darfield . She had 3 lovely kittens all adopted 2 females with normal tails and a male a real Manx ,a little knub for a tail .He went to my best mates wife. I later thought Darn I shoulda kept him for Petal and us ........She had a good life sole charge I used to see her patrolling the territory and she never figured out a hedgehog we used to feed..............I got a pic somewhere...Oh well, I'll have to call someone I hope she doesn't leave me again.”

“My first time at this vets, and was very impressed with the service I got from all of the staff. Very caring. Also gave excellent advice in a non-judgemental way. My boy's foot pad was split open after a mountain adventure, it's the 3rd time he has had this type of injury, but the first time we have been told it isnt a food allergy! I am happy I made the decision to change to VetEnt, and Emma the vet couldn't have been lovelier. Highly recommend.”

I was expecting to hear from someone regarding the outcome, especially given the context and the emotional weight of the situation. Instead, I had to check the results on my own, with no explanation or support provided. I understand that clinics can be busy, but a quick follow-up call or message would have gone a long way. Clear communication and patient care should extend beyond just uploading lab results Updated: I really appreciate that the clinic followed up and offered to arrange alternative testing, thank you for taking the time to check in. “We have been sending our girl to Alameda for 2 years now and it’s her absolute favourite place to be! So much so she’s waiting at the door every morning and cry’s the whole way there!! Our girl goes for daycare everyday and we can never thank the team and Davina enough for giving our girl the space to burn her energy and a safe space to stay when we are away from home! “Great experience, I went in to just grab some raw meat for my pup after googling " raw pet food in Christchurch"...the friendly staff member questioned me on what I want for my pup, she was full of great knowledge on animal nutrition and done a quick free assessment, using my dogs weight, size, breed etc, she gave me recommendations on best food and importantly how much she should be feed daily. Great variety of good quality, healthy food for your pet. It looks like this is my new regular dog food supplier. I definitely recommend people at least check out the variety of pet food if your in the area.”
