I was expecting to hear from someone regarding the outcome, especially given the context and the emotional weight of the situation. Instead, I had to check the results on my own, with no explanation or support provided. I understand that clinics can be busy, but a quick follow-up call or message would have gone a long way. Clear communication and patient care should extend beyond just uploading lab results Updated: I really appreciate that the clinic followed up and offered to arrange alternative testing, thank you for taking the time to check in. It’s great to know that patient care and communication are important to the team. I’m grateful for the support and the steps taken to ensure everything is being followed up properly. “We have been sending our girl to Alameda for 2 years now and it’s her absolute favourite place to be! So much so she’s waiting at the door every morning and cry’s the whole way there!! Our girl goes for daycare everyday and we can never thank the team and Davina enough for giving our girl the space to burn her energy and a safe space to stay when we are away from home! “Great experience, I went in to just grab some raw meat for my pup after googling " raw pet food in Christchurch"...the friendly staff member questioned me on what I want for my pup, she was full of great knowledge on animal nutrition and done a quick free assessment, using my dogs weight, size, breed etc, she gave me recommendations on best food and importantly how much she should be feed daily. Great variety of good quality, healthy food for your pet. It looks like this is my new regular dog food supplier. I definitely recommend people at least check out the variety of pet food if your in the area.”

“I unfortunately had to come to this Hospital as a family member ended up in the spine unit, being flown down from Wellington, as we don’t have a that kind of care system here, so back in August 2025, My Dad and I hope on a plane and headed down, I was blown away how great this hospital was and all the nurses and doctors look after my cousin so well, also the set up down there you have for the family members that have people staying in that unit, is so amazing awesome, the apartments are awesome, if I ever win big on lotto, I’m definitely donating to Burwood Hospital.. thank you”

“I brought my Daughter in for her first eye exam today and Wow I was not expecting how amazing the team was with young kids . My daughter was treated amazing and we had the most sweetest worker who come and did drawing with my daughter while we waiting for the results. The man who spoke with us about the eye test results was very detailed and double cheeked everything he answered every question we had (again amazing with such a young child) such a wonderful experience”
