“This place is no longer Williams Eatery - it’s now Bowler! They offer a fantastic selection of bowls, letting you choose from chicken, beef, or salmon, with bases of either brown rice, salad, or a mix of both. There are plenty of healthy options to enjoy here. I visited Bowler with my colleagues to check out the new spot, and it didn’t disappoint. The experience was wonderful! The staff were friendly and personally called out our names from the counter when our bowls were ready. It got quite busy during lunchtime, but at $17.90 per bowl, the price felt reasonable and well worth it. So far, I’ve tried the Free-Range Chicken Bowl (No. 1) and the Mt. Cook Salmon Bowl (No. 4). Both were absolutely delicious! The brown rice base is perfect if you’re looking for a more filling meal. The bowls focus on highlighting the natural flavours of the ingredients, with no heavy sauces - just fresh, wholesome goodness. I enjoyed Williams, and now I am loving Bowler too. I’ll definitely be coming here more often for lunch. Highly recommended!”

“Purchased a Steeden “State of Origin” replica ball from Player sports. I was super happy with my first purchase from this store for a number of reasons. Firstly, the price was $10 cheaper than anywhere else in New Zealand that I could find it online. Secondly, by my own mistake, I originally went in store to Greenlane where it was available for “Pickup”, but was not actually “in stock”, as it would have been sent there from Onehunga if I’d have gone with that option. However, the staff were really friendly, informative and polite, explaining the process clearly so that I could make the online purchase with confidence. The store was very tidy and had a great vibe, along with a wide selection of products to purchase. I didn’t have time to go to Onehunga that day but made the purchase online for home delivery, and it arrived 3business from the time of purchase. The product itself is good quality and arrived well packaged and in the expected condition. Will definitely purchase from Player Sports again.”

“Ordered a full set of deep dish rubber mats at the fieldays in Hamilton. I had to laugh when I found out RubberTree are based in Glendene, and I live in Henderson. Anyway the mats are great, only issue was the drivers side mat didn’t line up properly. A quick phone call and trip to Glendene, and they replaced the mat with the correct one.”

“We recently renovated our kitchen and decided on new appliances for it from the  Midea range. They being the range hood,  oven, and gas cooktop.  We bought these from the Midea appliance store JM Appliances in Newmarket.  The salesperson who assisted us, Olivia , was very knowledgeable and helped a lot in ensuring we made the right choices. The rangehood has been fantastic in every way in use.  It's easy to operate, powerful, quiet and functions and performs as it should. Such a joy after using an old inefficient rangehood the past years. And it looks good!! The oven too is  easy to operate and works well weither baking, roasting or grilling. As for the gas cooktop it has proven to be a worthwhile purchase too. As good as the other appliances in both operation and results. So, if you're in the market for top-notch kitchen appliances, we can very much recommend Midea and the team at JM Appliances in Newmarket . Especially Olivia as she is outstanding in her service and knowledge. Our rangehood, oven, and gas cooktop have exceeded our expectations in every way and helps make it a real joy to cook in the kitchen.”

“Lovely little shisha lounge to chill after a long day, the 2 owners are very kind and have top notch service every time I’ve come here with my workmates, I always get the BBQ chicken pizza everytime im here, so good and always fresh Good to see a place owned by local Westies, they know their customers very well, good RnB music going most nights too, hard to find shisha places which aren’t overly crowded and loud! Place is nice and cosy and shisha is never harsh like other spots”

“Tasty Cafe & Bakery in Avondale is a popular eatery that I've often visited in the last few years. The overall impression I get is that this is a great place to buy food from or dine in with family and friends. The array of pies the bakery creates is unique and never disappoints! I went for the new Cambodian fish curry pie and hot chips and it was a great combo! The pie pastry is always on point, the curry flavour infused with lemongrass (I think) is unique and flavoursome and the hoki fish melts in your mouth! Also the hot chips were crispy and tasty! Great pie and hot chips and I'll be back again for more!”
