   The store is great, prices are great but the staff member that didnt help us when we went in was so rude and disrespectful! The female that worked morning of the 20/12/25 .. we received the worst customer service by her over a click and collect order we made previously. The order wasn’t confirmed by the store while the items were all in stock in store shown on the website. When we went to enquire about the order and to check an e.t.a she wasn’t hearing the enquiry before continuing to mutter rude comments under her breath in front of our faces. The male staff on were helpful and kept telling her to give them the order details so they could see out the back if the order had even been picked or if it was even ready. The store itself was not busy, in fact we were the only customers in the store throughout our visit. If she didnt want to serve or help us she shouldav just left us alone to deal with the other staff members who actually didnt mind helping us and were actually very helpful. Not only that, the other staff member’s picked the order right there and helped us with the exchange as one of the items we ordered, they couldnt find. We rang and left a message as the calls werent being answered prior to going in. We werent expecting to leave with our items as we know that click and collect options have procedures in place before releasing the items, we just wanted to know if theyd even received the order as there was no confirmation and if there would be an available E.T.A for pick up. She made that experience so awkward and uncomfortable! Thank you to the other staff members that actually helped and to the males that went to the back and picked the order, very thankful to them.

   Couldn’t be happier with my purchase! I ordered the Gray Nicolls Velocity 5.0 rubber cricket shoes from Player Sports, and honestly, I’m stoked with how everything went. The website was super easy to use, checkout was quick, and I got updates all the way through. The delivery arrived right on time — which was awesome because I needed them for the weekend game! The shoes themselves are top quality — great grip, comfortable fit, and they look sharp too. Straight out of the box they felt match-ready, and I’ve already had a few teammates ask where I got them from. It’s clear Player Sports really care about customer experience. Smooth process, fast delivery, and genuine gear you can trust. I’ll definitely be back for more cricket gear soon

   Purchased a Steeden “State of Origin” replica ball from Player sports. I was super happy with my first purchase from this store for a number of reasons. Firstly, the price was $10 cheaper than anywhere else in New Zealand that I could find it online. Secondly, by my own mistake, I originally went in store to Greenlane where it was available for “Pickup”, but was not actually “in stock”, as it would have been sent there from Onehunga if I’d have gone with that option. However, the staff were really friendly, informative and polite, explaining the process clearly so that I could make the online purchase with confidence. The store was very tidy and had a great vibe, along with a wide selection of products to purchase. I didn’t have time to go to Onehunga that day but made the purchase online for home delivery, and it arrived 3business from the time of purchase. The product itself is good quality and arrived well packaged and in the expected condition. Will definitely purchase from Player Sports again.

The selection of shoes is amazing, the prices are reasonable, and the customer service is top-notch. And what impressed me most is these guys excellent service attitude! I messed up with my 2 orders just before they would be delivered, over the weekend.    Love my new racket bag! Bought this on special with a great price. Enjoyed my first experience with Players Sports, which offers a wide range of sports gears. I gave 4 stars as the delivery did take quite a few days to arrive despite having the 'overnight courier' sticker on the parcel. Overall, I will definitely come back. =)
