   Highly recommended!!! If you looking for buying appliance, this shop might not be the first but it will be definitely the last stop!! Very nice showroom with friendly and helpful staff, Tim is one of the best, he is very knowledgeable and kind, he can sell ice to the Eskimos!! They have a full range product from small appliance like rice cooker to Air Conditioner. Price is so much affordable vs other band without compromising the quality. Midea is now my best friend!!

   We recently renovated our kitchen and decided on new appliances for it from the  Midea range. They being the range hood,  oven, and gas cooktop.  We bought these from the Midea appliance store JM Appliances in Newmarket.  The salesperson who assisted us, Olivia , was very knowledgeable and helped a lot in ensuring we made the right choices. The rangehood has been fantastic in every way in use.  It's easy to operate, powerful, quiet and functions and performs as it should. Such a joy after using an old inefficient rangehood the past years. And it looks good!! The oven too is  easy to operate and works well weither baking, roasting or grilling. As for the gas cooktop it has proven to be a worthwhile purchase too. As good as the other appliances in both operation and results. So, if you're in the market for top-notch kitchen appliances, we can very much recommend Midea and the team at JM Appliances in Newmarket . Especially Olivia as she is outstanding in her service and knowledge. Our rangehood, oven, and gas cooktop have exceeded our expectations in every way and helps make it a real joy to cook in the kitchen.

   Worst product and service ever. We bought a midea washing machine in 2021, early Jan 2023 it encounter some issues(still under the 2 years warranty period), make huge noise regardless which washing mode we using. We called up Midea, the customer service team tried to convience us that was normal, and let us continue using the washing machine, then completely ignore our request on having their technician to have a check. July 2023, the washing machine stopped working completely, this time the "lovely" customer service team tried to avoid this critical issue again, their excuse is warranty already expired. Come ON!!!!! We called up in Jan and they don't do a single thing, but just saying it is normal. After argue/discuss with them, they finally let the technician (3rd party, Midea don't even have thier own support team or technician, very funny, lol) check the washing machine onsite and figured out what's wrong with it. Luckily, the repair company is quite reasonable and know what they are doing, always give us updates and timeframe on what's happening. But today, they told us, the washing machine requires 2 major componet replaced, Midea only able to supply one??? It's not worth repairing timewise as well as short of parts.... We have to chasing the "helpful" Midea customer service team again, they told us, that part can be obtained, but we need to wait another 2 months. Very well, let's do some simple math here, when your Midea products gone wrong, it need total at least 9 months to get it sorted????? Never buy Midea in NZ, they are complely hopeless.

   I bought gas cook top on April and shape of burner rings change so I emailed them someone call me from new market store and they said we will deliver that part to you I wait 2 week nothing hear from them call again and they said I will check with warehouse and I will update you wait another 3 days no reply call them again and still they don’t know when there warehouse can sort out the part it’s really disappointing and frustrated they don’t have clue at all they just know to sell their after sales service is really really bad be careful before you bought anything from new market store. Finally they sent a replacement after months

   The washer is fine, not tested yet so review may change. My rating is based on service alone. The store is situated in Newmarket on Broadway. It has no parking available yet your expected to collect items weighing 70+kg. I bought a trolley with me, how do other customers cope. Where are you supposed to load these large items, in the bus lane outside? Second reason is the way the phone was answered, I don't expect to be greeted on a blind call with Mandarin in NZ. English and Maori are our two official languages.

   Friendly and responsible staff. The quality of the washing machine is outstanding. A big thank to Alex who is very professional recommending this nice product, and very responsive to our question after buying. We bought this 7kg laundry a month ago and use it almost everyday. It's reliable, easy, powerful, fast and quiet. Save time and water plus it's very affordable! Worth every penny. Strongly recommend!
