“If you’re in the Sylvia Park area and looking for a great Thai meal, there’s a cozy little restaurant outside mall definitely worth a visit. It’s a small place, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in warmth and charm. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is friendly, and it feels like one of those local gems that’s still somewhat under the radar. We ordered the chicken with cashew nuts and the pineapple fried rice, and both dishes were absolutely spot on. The chicken was tender and juicy, perfectly coated in a savoury, slightly sweet sauce, and the roasted cashews gave it a nice crunch. The pineapple fried rice came served in a generous portion, packed with flavour and fresh ingredients — you could really taste the balance between the sweet pineapple, fragrant rice, and subtle spices. What really stood out was how fresh everything tasted. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and the dishes are prepared with care. Prices were also very reasonable, which is always a bonus, especially considering the portion sizes and flavour. Parking in the mall, can get busy on weekends. Clean toilets and friendly staff, food can be customized as per ur needs. To top it off, they serve alcohol too — a nice touch if you’re looking to enjoy a cold beer or a glass of wine with your meal. Overall, it’s a great spot whether you’re grabbing a quick bite after shopping or looking for a laid-back dinner. We’ll definitely be going back.”

“Mexicali Fresh is probably one of the best chains for Mexican food in New Zealand. I'm consistently impressed with the quality of the food and the prices are pretty decent. The ambience of this particular restaurant is really nice. The portions are quite large as well - I had a mini Macho Burrito and that was probably more food than I needed. The regular size must be massive.”

The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our meal. There’s also plenty of parking, which made the visit super easy. “I’ve had lunch a few times here recently (my apartment is a few hundred metres away). Both times the food has been good quality cafe-style fare, and prices are reasonable for the post-COVID environment. I like the place and food and expect to eat here two to three times a fortnight. Happy to recommend to locals, people visiting Central Park for business, and anyone else who doesn’t have small noisy offspring.”

“Japanese cuisine is always my favourite. It’s the first time I have dined at Daikoku at Botany Town Centre on 16/11/2023. The Japanese manager who greeted me at the entrance of the restaurant was very friendly and hospitable. As I can speak some Japanese, we could have a lovely chat. The Japanese Chef was also very professional and attentive. There were only three of us on the same table so there was not much noise. Food was delicious and I would like to take my husband there some time later. I highly recommend you to come there and enjoy their lunch special if you happen to get near Botany Town Centre.”

“I've been here on every visit to Auckland, lots of seating. The menu is extensive. I love hot curries so always order indian hot, they were almost spot on but I feel they weakened the spice level. The flavour of the curries are great nice sized portions too.”

“We enjoyed the food and environment while we were there. Big menu selection, food was very good and the plating was nice. We loved the plum juice in a jug. They were short staff and gave us a plate of dessert while we were waiting- a nice gesture. Some dishes required booking in advance. Overall, worth it especially with First Table booking.”

“Pani pooris we were good. Must try! We also tried the egg dish Soorati Ghotala and it tasted like pav bhaji with grated boiled egg white. We were not a huge fan of the dish but if you like pav bhaji you could give jt a go. Service was swift.”

“Hadn't been to La Zeppa for a few years but had a really lovely lunch with a friend last week. The food was superb, service friendly and unobtrusive. For some reason I always think of it more of a bar than a restaurant but will certainly be back for another dining experience. My first time using First Table and it was easy....plus the staff didn't make us feel like we were any less special than any of the other diners.”

“I had my 21st birthday party at Stonefields Public House and it was absolutely amazing! When I started planning months ago, the staff were so friendly and helpful when I came in to ask about hosting a 21st. The function space on the terrace was beautiful and could fit a large number of people. Their minimum spend for functions was so reasonable. I organised the catering and logistics over email, and they were so helpful and made the process of selecting food and drinks so easy. On the night they were so amazing, they helped us set up the space, the service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the drinks were amazing. We had our own bar in the space which was so cute. They were so accommodating with what we wanted. I made a playlist that they played over the speakers in the function space, and set up a photo slideshow to show on the TVs in the space as well. Honestly, I had the best 21st ever and they are the reason for it! 6 stars out of 5!!!”

Bald Eagle Diner has the best food known to Mission Bay! With their cheesy burgers filled with flavour and their crunchy onion rings. The prices are great! And the drinks were phenomenal, their freak shake was my favorite!”
