“If you’re in the Sylvia Park area and looking for a great Thai meal, there’s a cozy little restaurant outside mall definitely worth a visit. It’s a small place, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in warmth and charm. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is friendly, and it feels like one of those local gems that’s still somewhat under the radar. We ordered the chicken with cashew nuts and the pineapple fried rice, and both dishes were absolutely spot on. The chicken was tender and juicy, perfectly coated in a savoury, slightly sweet sauce, and the roasted cashews gave it a nice crunch. The pineapple fried rice came served in a generous portion, packed with flavour and fresh ingredients — you could really taste the balance between the sweet pineapple, fragrant rice, and subtle spices. What really stood out was how fresh everything tasted. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and the dishes are prepared with care. Prices were also very reasonable, which is always a bonus, especially considering the portion sizes and flavour. Parking in the mall, can get busy on weekends. Clean toilets and friendly staff, food can be customized as per ur needs. To top it off, they serve alcohol too — a nice touch if you’re looking to enjoy a cold beer or a glass of wine with your meal. Overall, it’s a great spot whether you’re grabbing a quick bite after shopping or looking for a laid-back dinner. We’ll definitely be going back.”

The restaurant combines delicious food, affordability, quick service, generous portions, and cleanliness — a true hidden gem in Auckland. That’s why I want to recommend it! Also, whenever I see negative reviews about Eden, I feel puzzled, because my dine-in experiences have always been met with efficient and professional front-of-house service. I’ve even witnessed staff making fresh dumplings by hand, as well as the busy kitchen in action. Despite the rush of many customers, I still receive greetings, attention, smiles, and, of course, amazing food. I’m grateful to Eden for giving me such a wonderful experience, and I truly hope people can show more understanding and be less critical. Here’s to another day of recommending Eden!”

“Mexicali Fresh is probably one of the best chains for Mexican food in New Zealand. I'm consistently impressed with the quality of the food and the prices are pretty decent. The ambience of this particular restaurant is really nice. The portions are quite large as well - I had a mini Macho Burrito and that was probably more food than I needed. The regular size must be massive.”

“Pita House is the OG Kebab joint nestled amongst Onehunga's commercial district. The family owned and operated business is authentic to the word, not only will they serve you the best kebab you've ever eaten, you can also stock up on all you middle eastern groceries and their inhouse Pita breads which are often still warm in the bag from coming off the conveyor belt. I Love this place, love the people & will always travel near or far if the temples screaming for a delicious meal.”

“YUM YUM YUM!!! We do love our fried chicken and were excited to see a new place opening up so close to home. We tried them for the first time last night and were left very happy! I got the chicken salad which was so good. That dressing! Yum. I'll go back just for that! I also got the classic burger coz, lets face it, the salad wasn't going to cut it on its own haha. Both were delicious. My husband had some spicy wings and the spicy burger and was completely satisfied. The staff are super friendly. They'll know me by name soon enough :) Good quality and tasty food. A nice addition to our neighbourhood.”

The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our meal. There’s also plenty of parking, which made the visit super easy. “This authentic Chinese food restaurant on Dominion Road may not have the most inviting look and feel, but the food speaks for itself. My fiancée and I decided to try it out before heading to Eden Park to watch an All Blacks game. We ordered Taro Balls, Dry Noodles with Peanut Sauce (large size), and Dumplings with Spicy Sauce (medium size). The portions were generous and perfect for two people, and the prices were quite reasonable. The Taro Balls, in particular, were exceptionally well-fried and delicious – highly recommended! The peanut sauce noodles were also tasty, with ample portions that we thoroughly enjoyed. The dumplings, while similar to those at other Chinese restaurants, were still quite good. Overall, this restaurant provided us with a satisfying dinner. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Chinese food.”

“Japanese cuisine is always my favourite. It’s the first time I have dined at Daikoku at Botany Town Centre on 16/11/2023. The Japanese manager who greeted me at the entrance of the restaurant was very friendly and hospitable. As I can speak some Japanese, we could have a lovely chat. The Japanese Chef was also very professional and attentive. There were only three of us on the same table so there was not much noise. Food was delicious and I would like to take my husband there some time later. I highly recommend you to come there and enjoy their lunch special if you happen to get near Botany Town Centre.”

“Was driving by so decided to pop in for a quick early dinner. First visit, so asked for a recommendation and it did not disappoint. We were recommended dahi puri and chole bhature and both dishes were great. We also got a samosa chaat and mango lassi. Will be back!”

“We enjoyed the food and environment while we were there. Big menu selection, food was very good and the plating was nice. We loved the plum juice in a jug. They were short staff and gave us a plate of dessert while we were waiting- a nice gesture. Some dishes required booking in advance. Overall, worth it especially with First Table booking.”

“this is one fo the best Fish and chips I've ever had in NZ, The boss serves warmly and the shop is clean and tidy ,although the shop area is not big, but very warm and comfortable. the materials are very fresh, and the products taste first class, especially fried chicken wings, unique configuration, taste better than big brand stores.my friends and i come almost every week now. For some reason I always think of it more of a bar than a restaurant but will certainly be back for another dining experience. My first time using First Table and it was easy....plus the staff didn't make us feel like we were any less special than any of the other diners.”

The staff are super friendly and helpful. I couldn’t recommend this place more!!! My personal favorite is the pepperoni, they use very fresh ingredients and the pizza base is cooked to perfection every single time! Highly recommend to all!!!”
