In all that time Roma Blooms has been a fixture for me - a smiling face when I needed, a considered commenter on CBD issues of the day, and a vendor of beautiful flowers. They've done it tough - like all the businesses around here, waiting for the day when the trains will run and the sea of cones will be a distant memory. Like all businesses they need our support. I'm a regular customer and would love to see more residents become regular customers. How can we help? By visiting their store. Getting to know the people behind the flowers. “I tried out the great new kitchen in Anastasis Coffee Roasters. It’s an interesting mix of Chinese/ Taiwanese, Mexican and American street food with baos, birria, fried chicken and churros on the menu. I had forgotten how good baos were and these got me back hooked with great flavours and textures. The tacos are as good as any other birria tacos I've tasted in Auckland and the fried chicken had just the right amount of spice kick and comes with dipping sauce. There's some seating inside and an outdoor area outback with string lighting. Great vibe. They are also looking to get a liquor license and other offerings in the future. The current kitchen hours different to the coffee store openings are Wednesday 11am-2pm and Thursday to Saturday 11am - 2pm, 5pm - 9pm. Definitely worth stopping by and trying out.”

“MicroMed spray has been an ideal preventative intervention for my German Shepherd. As soon as I see him biting or licking a spot, I use the spray. 9/10 it will clear up before I have to do anything else. It is also good for when there is a hotspot, to help him pay less attention to it alongside shaving/cropping the fur so it can heal.”

“Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The DIY pet wash is super popular and you can end up waiting. My advice would be to go during the week if you can. If its not busy, you can get an extra token if you have the unlimited wash for $99.”

“The Beer Spot is for everyone that likes beer and wine, exceptional craft beers, usually local and of course magnificent NZ wines. So much choice on tap and you are welcome to taste everything before settling on a favorite. Very well setup, plenty to do or just listen to music, some days it's live. Food is by food truck with amazing variety. Highly recommended and well worth a visit.”
