Incredible Lebanese shawarma place. The pickles inside were amazing. Order with fries (they put them inside the shawarma). The shawarma is flavourful, but surprisingly not heavy. Lemonades are great too. Over all amazing place, great service, friendly staff, and excellent food. Fun fact: DΓΆner(as dΓΆner kebab) turkish, shawarma arabic, and gyros greek all mean βturningβ, as turning meat.

The Lebanese Grocer is home to the best chicken shawarma I have ever tried, outstanding! Not just the shawarma but the hummus and labneh that we got to take home is unbelievable. Pro tip, they give you $2 back each time you drop in your jars for a refill of hummus or labneh, hold onto your jars. 10/10 - Highly recommend to all. James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales

The service was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere here was great as well, they have a nice little eating area at the back. The shawarma tasted really good, good mix of vege and meat. The coriander chips was also tasty as well if you like coriander.

Tried them last week for the first time and ordered their Chicken Shawarma. The first bite is divine with the burnt pita flavour coming out of it. However, after few bites, somewhere in the middle had a very salty flavour that is overpowering the rest. I really like the strong flavours but the saltiness is putting everything off. So then I tried their Sojouk the next day but for this batch, it had a very sour taste coming from the pickle (or pickle sauce?). Overall I like it, it would just be great if the strong flavours could be balanced. P.S. their Baklava is really tasty perfect finish to wash off the flavours from the mains.

Very lovely staff but the food not that good The shawarma itβs like boiled chicken without any taste or spices. Falafel it is filled with cinnamon.

The smell of shawarma when you walk into the shop gets the taste buds going. Ordered the chicken shawarma that was delicious but like others say a little small. The falafel however was a big let down. Dry and bland and had the overpowering taste of baking soda.

From the chef of Milenta comes Lebanese grocer what can I say but this place is full of love you can taste it from their food and beverage you can feel it in their service. The ambiance is simple grab and go grocer. Everything was made fresh upon order. The sujuk was so delicious Lebanese coffee and mint tea are a delight. Can't ask for more freshly baked baklava is such a vibe looking forward coming back for more.

A True Taste of Lebanon in the Heart of Auckland! βββββ (5/5) As a devoted fan of Lebanese cuisine, I simply cannot rave enough about The Lebanese Grocer! It is, without a doubt, the most authentic and delightful schwarma and Lebanese cafΓ© I've had the pleasure of visiting in Auckland. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming ambiance. The staff were genuinely friendly, offering exceptional service and ensuring that I was well-taken care of throughout my visit. The aroma of spices and grilled meats filled the air, setting the stage for a marvelous culinary experience. The menu boasts an incredible selection of traditional Lebanese dishes, all prepared with the freshest ingredients and the utmost attention to detail. I ordered the chicken schwarma, and it was nothing short of perfection. The tender and juicy chicken was marinated in a divine blend of spices added the perfect amount of tanginess. Paired with a side of perfectly cooked, crisp, spiced fragrant chips it was a meal that transported me straight to the streets of Beirut. I also had the pleasure of trying the baklava, which was truly a work of art. The layers of delicate phyllo pastry, packed with a luscious combination of nuts and syrup, melted in my mouth and left me craving for more. The Lebanese Grocer has become my go-to spot for an authentic Lebanese experience in Auckland. Whether you're a long-time fan of the cuisine or a curious newcomer, I can guarantee that The Lebanese Grocer will not disappoint. If I could give this cafΓ© more than five stars, I absolutely would. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

Was pretty excited to try the shawarma but the Chicken shawarma which was the weekly special was quite disappointing. For $17 shawarma they really need to do better. It was dry and just bland. The Chilli sauce just made it extremely spicy without any flavour.
