This café has a super chilled vibe, though mornings can get very busy with lots of foot traffic. The funky backyard seating is perfect for a relaxed, chill time. The staff are incredibly sweet and welcoming, and the corn and cheese toasty is a must-try—so good!
The team who work here are always lovely, their different blends of coffee are delicious, and they have all the plant milks, and even zero lacto. One of the very few coffee shops where I can actually have cows milk still. Love this place!
Wow, after 10 days out of the country, this was just what was needed. The best flat white ( road runner with almond ) at the perfect temp for me I think I have ever had! Same for the cheese scone, toasted with butter, the slices of orange were a nice touch and thoroughly enjoyed. Im glad I found this place, as a visitor
I have driven this coffee shop countless times and its decor has always been intriguing. Decided to finally give this place a go. This place truly feels like a hidden gem and a slice of NZ coffee culture. Many locals come to buy coffee and the staff are friendly. They could do with a stronger lunch menu. The cabinet food is decent and actually tastes quite good . The Reuben has a lovely cheese pull. Coffee good as well. A good destination overall.
I tried out the great new kitchen in Anastasis Coffee Roasters. It’s an interesting mix of Chinese/ Taiwanese, Mexican and American street food with baos, birria, fried chicken and churros on the menu. I had forgotten how good baos were and these got me back hooked with great flavours and textures. The tacos are as good as any other birria tacos I've tasted in Auckland and the fried chicken had just the right amount of spice kick and comes with dipping sauce. There's some seating inside and an outdoor area outback with string lighting. Great vibe. They are also looking to get a liquor license and other offerings in the future. The current kitchen hours different to the coffee store openings are Wednesday 11am-2pm and Thursday to Saturday 11am - 2pm, 5pm - 9pm. Definitely worth stopping by and trying out.
We love going into Anastasis! Coffee is great, customer service is excellent. My dog gets super excited going in to say hello to the staff. Thank you for being a dog friendly cafe!

Got told my burger will take 20-25mins. Took 55mins. The girl serving couldn’t have cared less. Also asked and paid for a double and got a single patty :(
If you're looking for decent, affordable smash burgers, this is the place! We ordered 2 double Aucklahomas and a side of fries. Better to get as a combo as a side of fries is huge! so I could have gotten one to share instead of one each but totally worth the $$$ this has become our new local fave!
Super cool place to chill. Amazing coffee! Smooth and delicious. Staff were friendly and coffees were made super quick.
