   I've bought several items recently from Hurdleys - a new office chair 6 months ago, and a new chair mat just now. I visited the showroom to buy the chair and found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. I bought the mat online and found the website very easy to use. In both cases delivery was free and prompt. I highly recommend Hurdleys.

   The chair is comfortable so far. Though, the parts did not come in mint condition as some had scratches or minor manufacturing defects (it wasn’t bad enough for me to send it back and wait for another one to arrive). The chair is definitely pricey but I think it was a good purchase compared to other chairs that was on the market for a cheaper price. I will have to wait and see how long the cushions + gas cylinder lasts and see how easy it will be to get it repaired / replaced. Edit: I updated to 4 stars. The chair is working nicely up to date. The chair adjustment allows you to adjust it according to your needs and my posture has gotten better. However, I am not sure about the gas cylinder. I will give out another update sometime.

   I was disappointed to find that the chair for our home office I thought I bought assembled was not and the money chewed up in GST. I have yet to assemble it and I have a very grumpy husband. Otherwise the customer service was lovely on the phone and the delivery arrived quickly. We had purchased the chair as recommended by a colleague who told us that they send out chairs assembled.

   One of the best warranty services ever. I called the store about issues with my chair then my mum missed the pickup. I called the manager and told him I am not available for the next 2 weeks. After 2 weeks he calls me and sets up a pickup comes within half an hour himself and says the chair will be ready by tommorow. Just straight up impeccable service. Other places I would be carrying my chair and waiting for weeks.

   Had many office chairs on site to look at and try, and many were very comfortable and felt premium. Most chairs also offered a 10 year warranty which is great. Staff were helpful, suggesting appropriate chairs when I explained what I was looking for and didn't hover when I wanted to try some by myself. Left having purchased a great chair, which was fully delivered the day after.

   I have been looking around (pre Xmas) for chairs due to working from home. We used to buy office chairs from Warehouse Stationery, their chairs are cheap but flimsy and don't last once beyond 12 month warranty period. I came across this Hurdleys Office Furniture online, their office is centrally situated in a back street In Newmarket. So plenty pay and display parking spaces outside. You can also order online for delivery but as it was the Friday before Xmas, so I decided to go into the shop and see if I could find anything that's is on clearence. The lady Briar was sooooo helpful and friendly. Really appreciated it! Thank you heaps for her advice. Ended up buying the display models on clearance price, already assembled too. These are quality chairs, one could tell when I lifted them to put in the wagon, solid build. No wonder most of office chairs here are covered with 10 year warranty!! Multiple seating adjustment too, height, angle, recline and the back piece can go up and down to support the shoulder. We love these chairs, honestly!! And heavy duty one can take individual weighing up to 150kg. Solid stuff. Where as other outfits offer 1 year warranty only. Really happy with the purchase so far and this is truly the case here you get what you pay for and to be honest, if you buy the models that are on specials, you get really good values for money. Don't forget the 10 year warranty on most chair models. Highly recommended that you visit their website or store before making decisions, it will be worth it!
