A singular experience! If you do go to the island for a stay, make sure you watch a movie here in one of the reconditioned couches and with some funny pre-show shorts to set the mood. There is always a good selection of frozen treats. Just don't be that guy who brings in nachos.
This place is one of a kind. Super comfy sofas with a really cozy vibe. Snacks and frozen treats available too. A must visit while on island!

Wow. Just wow. One of the most beautiful cinema experiences I’ve ever had. Such a lovely, warm, community vibe here. Mostly locals (we were just visiting for a few days), and the owner is a legend who looks after everyone so well. Loved the snack bar up the back. Comfy couches that were great to spread out on. We saw A Complete Unknown and had the best time. Gets busy so reserve your tickets online ahead if you can!

This has got to be one of the funkiest little cinema ever. Fully enjoyed the experience and you could tell it is a community run initiative which you don't get in the city

Amazing little community theatre on Waiheke Island in main shopping area of Oneroa up behind library. Quirky and homey. Couches for patrons to sit on. Great selection of new releases. Close to restaurants for dinner.
Wow! An intimate, locally-owned delight, with comfy couches and genuine community ethos. Great range of movies from art house to action, romance to rock, mystery to melodrama. A must-see when at Waiheke, with cafes, bars, beach and restaurants close by. Love it!
