   0/5 — Extremely Disappointing & Uncomfortable Experience I’m currently sitting inside the theatre while writing this because the situation is genuinely unacceptable. The air-conditioning is barely working, and the entire place feels suffocating. I informed the staff three separate times, and each time they said they would turn it on… but nothing changed. A theatre is supposed to be a comfortable place to enjoy the show, not somewhere you struggle to breathe. The lack of urgency and basic customer care is shocking. If this is how they treat people, it seriously needs attention from management. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this level of discomfort and negligence deserves zero stars. I hope they take this feedback seriously for the sake of future customers.

   Great cinema in the heart of Mission bay.. paid parking available behind the restaurants and cinema block. Service is friendly and relaxed. Grab a glass of your fav tipple before settling in for your choice of viewing. Thumbs up all the way!

   The whole place was full of overflowing rubbish bins. Popcorn on the floor near the toilets, in the passage close to the cinemas. The lady serving us with tickets and snacks was lovely. Kind and friendly.

   Air con didn’t work so we got to sit through a courtesy sauna session for a 3 hour movie. Should probably not be using that cinema until it is fixed as people seemed to be on the verge of passing out.

   We had a fantastic night watching Top Gun at Berkeley Mission Bay. Being winter it was super cold outside and nice and warm when we got inside, the lady who served us was super friendly and the popcorn was hot and fresh. A lot of people don’t know but there is a lot of car parking right behind the cinema. James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales

   This is a fantastic, perfectly sized, cinema on the front of Mission bay. There are 4 screens that hold about 40 to 50 people each. The seats are big and comfortable with plenty of leg room. Booster seats are available for small kids, check the front underneath the screen. This is a child friendly complex. There is a well stocked sweet, drinks, and popcorn selection at the front desk, along with an adult selection of beers & wines. This really is a great cinema, which is well priced for NZ. Top tip here, join Hoyts rewards and get discounts off selected films and times. Get in early and you're pretty much guaranteed a cinema (almost) to yourself.
