“Got discharged today after being looked after by the District nurses for 5.5 months. Whilst I am so happy to finally be discharged I am also so very grateful to have been taken such good care of by all the nurses who looked after me during that time. I definitely would not have healed so well without their help. Also shout out to 2 of the security guards who go out of their way to remember patient names, it makes coming in just that little bit more pleasant.”

“I need have a monthly specialist prescription. Countdown Pharmacy have been consistently amazing for me over the last 10 years. I get a text when my medication is available to be collected, as it needs to be ordered in. They follow up with my Doctor when and if required. I can't fault them and wouldn't go anywhere else.”

“To all the doctors, nurses and support workers in in the kids first ED- from a mom who had two overnight admissions with two of my kids within a week’s span. One a suspected accident related issue and the other a medical issue. You all are superstars, doing your best and beyond tirelessly even in the middle of the night to make sure each and every child is taken care of. Your services are nothing short of legendary. With sincerity I can say both my children were attended and treated to the best care in the best possible duration. Thanks a million once again.”

She was so nice and offered all the help I need including carrying my baby while filling up my transferral form. And doctor Pang was easy to talk to and gave us the right medication right away. “I think within this service it's all about who you get. They do have a high turn over of staff (I've been in the service for 3 and a half years and have had 5 case managers and 4 psychiatrists). I think within the service you also have to advocate for yourself as best as possible and if your case manager and/or psychiatrist isnt helping you request to change your team. My last case worker and psychiatrist were people who just weren't a good fit for me so I requested to change my whole team and now I'm being I have an incredibly good relationship with my case worker and psychiatrist. In terms of who you need to have a good relationship with its definitely first and foremost your case worker as they are the ones you have the most interaction with. I'm sorry to hear of all the negative experiences people have had within the service and I could definitely see that being the case. The service definitely could be better. But I'm just lucky my experience has been a pretty satisfactory one. For case managers Filly (though I'm not sure if she still is in that role) and Taryn are INCREDIBLE and have helped me immensely and always advocated for me in terms of voicing how I was feeling to other services when I wasnt strong enough to do so. I saw that someone posted a negative review about the psychiatrist Ingrid, I've found her to be the best psychiatrist I've had so far, soft spoken and asks all the right questions. In terms of groups, I've been in 4 throughout my time and have found them to be helpful both in the social aspect (where I have met some great people) and in their content. Sure, some of the groups I havent found were helpful for me, but when that was the case I still went for the social aspect and learning different skills/gaining knowledge even if so far I havent found information for that particular group helpful. Being a patient within different public services before I kind of knew where my expectations needed to be and they've lived up to that. Being a public service their resources are stretched THIN so for what they are given by the DHB funding wise, I think they are doing the best job they can with what they have been given which is something that I feel should be recognized.”

“I recently had a mammogram at Allevia Breast Institute and was looked after by Jane, who was incredibly gentle and patient. Iit made the experience much more comfortable. I also had a breast ultrasound afterward, and while I’ve forgotten the name of the lovely woman who did the scan, she was equally kind and reassuring. She even brought in Dr. Yang to explain my results on the spot, which really helped put my mind at ease. I’m very grateful for the care and professionalism shown throughout. Thank you, team!”

“Dr. Matt and his team are awesome- I showed up with uncomfortable veneers, and he was super nice and professional, really taking my tricky situation seriously. He made a careful adjustment that’s helped heaps already, and I’m stoked to keep working with him for more improvements. His friendly staff made me feel at home too. Trust this place, you won’t be disappointed- the office even has a cool orange vibe. P.S: If you need your teeth cleaned, Dr. Kira is 10/10 the most gentle professional I've experienced :)”

“Having had an unsatisfactory experience with one of the big audiology chains, I did some research and discovered the Family Hearing Centre. I cannot praise them enough. Chatu has been absolutely wonderful. I had challenging hearing needs and needed multiple appointments and follow up phone calls. Chatu was so kind, warm and patient as well as being brilliant at her job. She persisted in finding what worked for me. I highly recommend her!”

“Dr. Sun was incredibly helpful when I visited with a severe headache and fever. She was patient, caring, and very attentive, especially when she noticed how weak I was. Both Dr. Sun and her team took excellent care of me. I also brought my son in for a consultation recently. She quickly identified the cause of his illness, and he recovered the very next day. Having suffered from arthritis for of a decade and had an accident hurting the knee I feel much better after three treatments. The treatment covered all options: gentle approach, light impact and pushing kneecaps and hamstring back where it is supposed to be. Not entirely pain free yet, but so much better.”

“Just seen this dentist today. Very friendly people and took time to thoroughly check my teeth! Seen other two dentist but Dentist Onehunga had very reasonable price. Treatment options are all given and I did not feel anything during the treatment. It was pleasurable experience and impressed with their high techniques. Highly recommend this place.”
