“I have been here a couple of times now. And every time, these guys impress me with the quality of food they serve and their service. I was here with a couple of workmates a few weeks ago for lunch, to enjoy a meal from Western India. Their food is absolutely authentic and delicious. The staff was very friendly too. Their Parathas, Dhoklas and sweets are a must try especially Jalebis! The portions are great too and so is their take away packaging! I would highly recommend them! :) Cheers”

Beer was different and weird. They need at least one common beer. A bit xxy but would go back again. Loved the friendliness of all the staff.”

“I had spinach kofta and garlic naan in dinner yesterday (i.e. 28 Aug 2025). The food was very delicious. They offered me peanuts free of cost, as starter. The staff is very polite and courteous. The restaurant is very spacious with a great ambience. I enjoyed having dinner here.”

“Nice place with excellent ambience. Cocktails were spot on must try Espresso Martini and Oasis in the thar. In starter snowflake chicken was delicious and must try one. The second starter “Grilled paneer” was not that up to the mark. (Improvement required) In the mains Kadai paneer & Vegetable Jalfrazi were superb with unique richness in test and texture. The way they served the roti was very new and unique. The place really lived up to our expectations. Must visit place”

“I came from Australia to Auckland to watch NZ sikh games and to meet my friends. On first night, My host friend ordered takeaway tandoori chicken and Amritsari fish from this place. The girl at the reception was so polite and professional. Story begins when we started to eat food with our drinks. We all were really lost in the taste too mich that our conversation was diverted to the food we were eating. I haven't eat that much delicious chicken in Australia. Its my 3rd day in Auckland and every night we are ordering from this place. Masala on tandoori chicken is finger lickin. Big appreciation and thanks to the heroes in the kitchen.”

“We tried this place for the first time today. Walking in I have to admit my first impression wasn't great. The restaurant definitely needs some attention. But the guy serving us was great and I found the food to be amazing. Once of the best Goan fish curries I have ever had. And my wife absolutely loved the Mango chicken. Awesome mixed platter with just the right amount of food for a starter for 2. And delicious as well! We will definitely be back to try some of your other dishes!”

“Absolutely incredible – a must-try for vegetarians! We went here with a big group of friends and had the best experience. We had Vegetarian Mandi Rice family packs, and wow, we were not disappointed! The rice was so fragrant and perfectly spiced, and they mix paneer and vegetable into it is just magic. It was honestly one of the most biryani dishes I've ever had.”

“Indian restaurant in Ellerslie. A real gem of a restaurant. Can't fault any aspect of this place. The food was delicious, fresh and tasty and the service was very good. We were a party of 11 and all our meals were made within a reasonable time from ordering. The decor really adds to the experience. “This place has great food, but it's a hole in the wall, almost literally. It opened at noon and you have to go down this long hallway with bottles hanging. You sit on rickety wooden crates, there are 3 different rooms or sections. See if you can get the one in the back it's very laid back. We tried almost Eveything, I'd say you have a hard time finding something that you don't enjoy. Try the thumbs up if you're looking for Pepsi or coke.”

“Definitely our favourite Indian restaurant. The service impeccable, the staff are just great friendly and helpful, they know their food, the food is outstanding and the atmosphere pleasant and warm. From start to finish the experience is spot on. Tonight we had the Gol Gapa, Gilafi Seekh Kebab, Lamb Madeas and the waiter surprised me with a traditional chicken curry that’s not on the menu, and holy moly! It was outstanding! I don’t know how these guys make the sauces that accompany some of the dishes but they are A-MAZING!!! The chilli the sweetness, everything is perfectly balanced. I can’t rave enough about the food here. If you want a great Indian experience with amazing service go and see these guys.”
